Do you have a hobbycraft nearby. They're usually pretty good for that sort of thing, although I always have to be careful I don't overspend. I also buy fleece scarfs from the £1 or 99p shops and use those for felt projects. Its not quite the same as felt is close enough for most projects. I also have a fabric stall on my local market so sometimes get felt there. I wouldn't recommend Wilcos though as the felt they sell in packs is not very good for sewing. Its a bit cheap and not very good quality. The other option I can think of is Fred Aldous as they sell stuff online - http://www.fredaldous.co.uk/

Oooh that looks really cool I got to the post office today so mine has been sent out. Its been a while since I've posted anything to the US so I'm not sure how long it takes but hopefully it won't be too long.
Looks cool I'm off work on annual leave at mo so my parcel may have arrived and be waiting for me there.
I was following your blog when I was using google reader but it seems to have disappeared from my list when I transferred everything over to blog lovin. The dress looks really pretty and I've now readded it to my blog lovin feed
I named my shop after my cats nickname (Woodle Doodle Dandy) and have him on my logo. Although I don't sell cat related stuff it means something to me and I think its good to get a name that has a personal link to you. I would start by writing down everything in your head related to what you sell the charity and what's important to you and just play around with the words and see if anything comes out of that.
You could make her a pencil case to keep her stuff in for work
I've just liked yours. I'm over here https://www.facebook.com/woodledoodledandydesigns Btw nice artwork, especially the still lifes.
I'll start things of so people get the idea.
I've blogged today about the Crafty Colours Swap I'm taking part in http://www.woodledoodledandydesigns.co.uk/blog/colour-swap-pics
For a long time I had a shop on Folksy and in their forums there was a thread for people to post links to their latest blog posts. It used to be really good for driving traffic to your blog and getting new followers. I thought I'd try it here. Basically all you need to do is write briefly what you blogged about today and post a link to that blog post.
I've got everything under way but just need to finish stuff off. I should be good to post Monday. I'll make sure I take a teaser pic first though so i can post it here.
I did a giveaway where I got people to like and share to enter the giveaway. I went from having about 50 likes to over 200 and have managed to hold onto them since.
I'm okay at crocheting but have never attempted anything like a plush and think that might be a bit beyond me. I was thinking of sewing it out of something like fleece. I've got a pinterest board I'm pinning pics of them on and pics of any of the suggestions people are adding here. I think I'll have to start with a small one and then if the pattern works make a bigger one.
You could start a facebook page for people to get updates and learn more about your preparations for the walk. It could link to a justgiving page so people could donate there. Also if you have twitter use this too. If in doubt add lots of cute pics of cats & dogs to remind people of why the cause is important.
I'm so pleased you like everything. Hopefully the ducks will untangle themselves
