Excellent - thank you

At first when I started reading this I couldn't see anything wrong. I then clicked on some of the user profiles and they are really odd. The website that they are all using is for a taxi service and their profiles all read the same. They look computer generated but very spooky.
I've just gone looking for it and found it after a few looks. Is there any way it could be made a bit more prominent? I'm sure most people don't know it's there so don't think to use it but if it was more noticeable it might get more usage.
EDIT
Just tried to report one of the obvious ad/spam users (and the main reason for asking for a button) and the report user button doesn't seem to appear if the bio isn't filled in.
This is so frustrating - every time I try and post something here it eats my text and all I'm left with it the heading.
All I'm asking for is the means to report users who spam the site or are offensive.
It seems to be working again now so thank you Tom/Cat if you fixed it
When I click on the board tab it doesn't open the boards. It just gives me the open of starting a new thread. I managed to get to this board via clicking on a link to a thread from the front page and then it bought up the list of other boards.
I went to post something on the birthdaygram thread on the swaps board but the thread had disappeared. I've checked and it's not burried under loads of others. Annoyingly it vanished on my birthday so I've had to start a new one to say thank you to those who I've received from :/
A year or two ago I remember the community section of the forums being called something else. I think it was issues or issues and rants. I personally think it was a clearer title for those boards. I've noticed since it was changed that some of the posts that used to go in the old issues and rants part have gone into the the suggestions and problems bit. I can totally understand why as having problems in the title makes it sound like the place to discuss problems of any kind rather than just site related problems. When things get mixed up together its easy to miss posts as I don't look at the site boards as often as the other bits.
I like that idea. I can see it creating a headache for Tom but I think the top crafter section needs some tweaking so that it encourages quality rather than just quantity. I'd love it to recognise some of the newer site users and it might encourage some more traffic to the site. I know the site has lots of registered users and tons of projects but the number of active members has dropped off a bit over the last few years. By active I mean people who post regular projects and join the forums.
I've been thinking about this for a little while and was wondering how people would feel if the emphasis on the top crafters bit could be shifted so that its not just about the number of projects submitted and more about the number of favourites collectively a member has for all of their projects. At the moment there are some brilliant crafters on the site who have had some hugely popular projects and how tos but this isn't reflected by the top crafter bit. Just a thought.
I've just remembered that I have deleted a thread fairly recently so I think it must be doable already. I deleted one that didn't have any comments on it though so I'm not sure if its still possible with older ones where other people have commented.
Having the ability to delete your own thread would be very handy. I think we used to be able to but I'm not sure if I'm remembering that right. It would be especially handy for threads which have a time factor involved like the one on helping name someones baby, or helping someone plan their wedding or buying a gift for a friends birthday.
Thats cool
I have that too. I was just about to post something about and ask if we could have a 'report' button added to peoples profiles. They have it on pinterest and most other sites and you just select why you're reporting them - i.e. in this case 'spam' and it generates a message to the site owners.
Excellent
