You could try making a mobile with it or a dreamcatcher

I saw these plant markers made from metal spoons and thought they were cool http://www.parenthacks.com/2011/04/homemade-garden-plant-marker-tags.html

I might give this a go next month. It sounds fun. By the way Debs, love all the things you've made.

Thats a very good point - I was assuming it was carrier bag plastic. Thats been used for several project on here but if its heavier duty plastic then thats a different kettle of fish :/

I'm not sure? If I was going to experiment I'd probably put your sheet of fabric with your sheet of plastic between two sheets of greaseproof paper and iron it. I'm not sure what setting probably try several and play around with how long you keep the iron on it.

I just realised I haven't done anymore to my dress. I must get on and finish it. Its sewing the hems which takes forever and I think I'd got myself sidetracked. Ooops

I had a look and it doesn't look like she's posted a how to which is a shame. You could message her directly and see if you has a pattern.

I suppose it can be anything that you might normally do with a sewing machine.

I've set myself a bit of a crazy challenge. I wanted to make myself a dress from this cool sheet I picked up at a local charity shop but had forgotten how to thread up the sewing machine. Its been so long since I have used it I've had a total mental block. This got me thinking. I'll make it all by hand. A lot of work but I'm doing okay at the moment and its quite relaxing just sitting on the sofa with my fabric and a needle and thread. Anyone else fancy doing the same? I'll post a pic when I'm done.

Cross stitch is cool and really good as if you make a mistake you can undo it Happy We have some of those in our pound shop which would be good for practise so I might try that. KT, I'm a Support Worker. Thank you you've reminded me that I had a Watercolour course run in my group a few years ago which went really well. I could see if theres interest in doing that again. I really admire anyone that can do watercolour tho, its a medium I've never got the hang of :/
