Hi Arty KitKat. Thanks for the lovely comment on my mad hatter headband project. You will be please to know it was all from recycled materials. I like to recycle too. The main material came from a coat the I re-modelled so it will match my outfit and the other bits where laying about the house. The base tube was a container from cat litter freshner so now I look good and smell nice! Lol Snigger Snigger x

Thanks for the friend invite. Think we could swap profiles and no one would know. We've got a lot in common. I like to recycle too. I usually pick things up from charity shops and give them a make over or just cut stuff up for fabric. Here's a handy tip. Get friendly with your local charity shops and ask them if they will save stuff for you that they would normally put in their rag bag. They can't sell damaged goods. Tell them you will make a donation. Old bras are really good for the fastners. I got a full length leather coat the other day with a repairable tear on the pocket for nothing. It's a bit cheeky, but it would end up being dumped and it breaks my heart to think how much stuff ends up being dumped x
