About
Once upon a time, there lived a girl in the forest. She spent her days in a small cottage nestled among the trees, writing the fairytale story of her life online. Hello, I'm Ariel, and this is where I post all my potions, crafts and charms....
I love to work with natural materials found in the forest, hemp, wood glue, buttons, felt, herbs, acorns, pinecones, paper, dollhouse furniture, glitter, leaves, emeralds and more...
My favorite thing to make is granola- the hippie's version of kandi and trade it with my friends of the forest. I hope you'll make some too! Please read my storyblog, The Forest at secretsoftheforest.com

by the way thanks for the faving of my typical dutch jewels, of course will really like it when you make an American version.LOL
i have a question, when you telling your fairy tales to public, do you only tell the story or acting you too the story? A few years i ago i was on a converenty for disabled students and their where deaf people too, so the fairy tail was translated throug a deaf interpreter, it was beautiful to see, then only hear the words.;-D have again a great weekend.xx
again have a nice great fun crafting weekend!xxx
Enjoy it, and make sure to post a version!
Thanx for faving my hello kitty bow

i've got hearts on the soles of my feet which have been there 2 years and are faded to the point they're almost invisible now and a little libertines inspired one that's fast dissapearing.
i never used a gun though, just the much less high-tech needle and ink method!!
yourself?

Hurray!
Portland-moving decision was magic...i realized that if i saved up for a year, it would be easy! lol. I'm going to try and find scholarships or something because i found this amazing art school up there... http://ocac.edu/ They focus on the crafting side of arts and crafts. I'm excited, but worried about making a portfolio!!
Also, have you seen the movie "Repo: the Genetic Opera"? I'm not sure of your opinion of excessive violence for humour in film, but i liked it quite a bit.
If you move to Portland, we could be friends in real life!! I'm moving to Portland next autumn.
I am going as Persephone for Samhain, and i like your style and was wondering if you had any suggestions as to the costume or any details? I'm thinking a ballroom gown and long strands of pomegranate-red bead necklaces... maybe raven feathers in my hair?
I hope this correspondence finds you well.

thanks for your comment nice!
what's 'moolah' though?
Yeah, it is :]
Thank you <3!
^-^
My male rat Brutus is HUGE and he'll actually go after her haha, it's hilarious
Love the consistency of all your projects: green-purple-fairy-like.
XOXO
Thank you :]
And I've always said I want to get engaged in Ireland where I can see the faeries and get married at a ruin like Stonehenge! I'm the kind of girl that wants a medieval dress, flowers in my hair and wings... you know, like Ever After!!
I think it takes going back to nature and simple things to find spiritual things. Like back in the Middle Ages, when people didn't have anything... that's when you see the most spiritual open-ness! Herbal treatments, belief in faeries, witches, healings.... I think I was born in the wrong time... ^.^
This is random, but i saw paganism in your interests... are you a pagan? I studied up on it for a while, and it's really neat! I'm a big fairy child, and in general I look for spirituality through various paths rather than one locked religion. And kudos to you for being able to meditate! haha. I get to the point of deep relaxation and ZzZzZz.... I zonk out! You'll have to teach me the trick!
Love & Light
thank you :]
I love your pic. You're super adorable
very cute.
add. :]
Sorry, im useless lool
