New look front page

Hey everyone,

So we've redesigned the front page to incorporate all the different areas of the site. What do you think of it? Is there anything else you'd like to see us change?

I really like most of the changes on the site and love this site generally. I do however have two little niggles (sorry) - I'm not that keen on the new way the boards are layed out. I think its partly my fault because I'm probably a bit lazy but I keep missing threads, especially in the swap section, because the top four come up. I think its a little deceptive as it looks like nothing news been added to your thread but it can be due to a busy day and lots of posts being made on other threads since yours. Also the number of characters in each title of a thread seems a little small as a lot of the thread titles don't fit within that number so they don't make sense until you click on them. I know these aren't big issues and they might only be mine but as I said they are just little niggles. They don't stop me using the site as I love it but I thought I would let you know.

Hmm, eventually we'd like to add an icon which shows you there are new unread topics in forums, but it's quite tricky. I'll tell T about the other issues too.
