Deletion of nasty comments on projects?

I'm speaking for a number of us here that are getting a little fed up with newbies posting nasty comments to projects. I have been to and heard of other sites that have this problem which prevented me from joining.

I know that people are entitled to their opinion, but when a site like this is on its' way to possibly being a place where the appreciated ones have to be subjected to such things, something should be done about it if possible. If at least there was a way to delete these negative comments and the person(s) posting them be warned

I'd agree with this. Although, thankfully, the negative and rude stuff is such a minuscule amount of the commenting which goes on here it does leave a nasty taste in your mouth when you read it. Most people seem to follow the rule that if you don't have anything nice (or at least constructive) don't say anything, but there do seem to be a few new members that don't seem to be following this which is sad.

I know it's only a few at the moment, but who's to say that it won't get worse? Just like at first it never happened, but now it is. I say nip it in the bud now before it possibly gets out of hand.
I love this site for many reasons and one being because of the nice and POLITE people. Call me funny, but just like in my physical life, I like to surround myself with nice, positive people; the same goes for online.

Hey, what we'd like to do is have a way for you to flag comments which you think are inappropriate, so that we can remove them. For now, send us a message with a link to the comment and we'll remove them for you!

How awful!! If people don't like the projects they shouldn't be commenting on them, let alone become members of CO+K.

This is a message for those nasty newbie's:
There's always going to be projects that some people like and others don't, that's why we are individual, but just because you don't like it doesn't mean someone else doesn't too, so the nasty comments should be kept to yourselves.

I can't believe such animosity is arising in such a lovely little community
