Have you ever used polyvore before? Its a very handy site for this sort of problem. Its a little like pinterest but you can see things you've added alongside each other and overlap things. Its hard to explain but worth a look http://www.polyvore.com/ - you just need to set up an account and you can get going. You can also get the source code for any collections you make and add them here or to a blog.

I run an art group and one the group likes using charcoal. I always use cheap hairspray to fix it as its tons cheaper than fixative spray and easier to get hold off. He's been in the group years and his older pics still look good so the spray doesn't harm the charcoals. He also uses blue tack in place of a putty rubber. We've had a few putty rubbers in the past but they always end up getting lost in our art cupboard. We have 2 art groups and a craft group and two of them run on my day off so everything always ends up put back in different places.
I personally don't like charcoals as they are too messy and I find them hard to use for finer detail. I prefer pencils.
I love pinterest for this sort of thing and have loads pinned as I have fine hair thats quite long. Here's a few I've found http://pinterest.com/pin/278871401898388856/ http://pinterest.com/pin/278871401895605178/ http://pinterest.com/pin/278871401895612832/ http://pinterest.com/pin/278871401897908023/
Oh thats okay thats what I originally thought and then thought if you were clearing out you might not want more back. I'd be up for doing that. I've got tons of stuff so it will get me to have a clear through. I'll get sorting
I'm always up for making new arty/crafty friends. I have made loads of friends from here over the years and love talking crafty stuff.
Mary what would you want in return - I'm guessing more stash in return isn't a good option if you're trying to reduce your stash.
I'd be up for joining - I saw this thread last year and thought it was a really lovely idea
Welcome There are a few men on here but not many that use the forums regularly.
You could also check charity shops for flat bed sheets or even pick them up new, if you know somewhere that sells them reasonably priced. I'm afraid I only know UK shops so that wouldn't be much help.
That sounds really cool. Although I studied art it was such a long time ago I barely remember any of the history side of things, especially the ones that I was less interested. Now though I wish I knew more as I run an Art group every Monday and it would be nice to refresh my knowledge so I can share it with the clients I work with. I recently had a great time digging around the internet for some Max Ernst to show a client who was working on an abstract/surreal pic that had a v similar feel to one of his paintings.
I think I saw a tutorial via pinterest that shows you how to make bronzing gel. http://thecoconutmama.com/2012/12/homemade-glitter-gel/
Its a bit like facebook but for crafters http://www.indiepublic.com/ - I joined up a few years ago but don't use it much as I only know a couple of people on the site. I figured I might use it a bit more if I knew more people.
If anyone is a member I'm here http://www.indiepublic.com/profile/KatClark
Do you have any car club schemes where they are? I don't drive but I know we have that sort of thing in the UK. You join up and its a pay as you go car hire scheme and they may not have the same restrictions with age that a normal car hire scheme does.
I've got very fair skin and use a childrens sun cream as they are good for sensitive skin as well as coming in a high factor. I use Ambre Solaire Factor 40. Its in a spray bottle and goes on well and rubs in well and lasts well. I don't tan I just burn so I use Johnsons Holiday skin to give me a slightly healthier look for the summer. Its not a sun cream its a moisturiser/body lotion that gives your skin a slight hint of colour without looking fake.
I use valued opinions website to do the same - I normally get amazon vouchers every time I get to £10 and its handy for little luxury items that you couldn't normally justify money for. I think the last thing I bought with them was a game for my DS. I might check out the second site you mention as it looks a bit different.
