Sian I love the George Harrison quote Happy I have loads of favourite quotes. I especially love Mark Twain and one of my favourites is 'Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear.' I also like an African proverb I saw on pinterest 'if you think you are too small to make a difference you haven't spent the night with a mosquitto'.

I've just remembered that I have deleted a thread fairly recently so I think it must be doable already. I deleted one that didn't have any comments on it though so I'm not sure if its still possible with older ones where other people have commented.

Having the ability to delete your own thread would be very handy. I think we used to be able to but I'm not sure if I'm remembering that right. It would be especially handy for threads which have a time factor involved like the one on helping name someones baby, or helping someone plan their wedding or buying a gift for a friends birthday.

I've created a How to for a strapless playsuit and added it here so you can look at that and see if it helps.

That has been raised before on the site part of the forum. I couldn't find the original thread so it might be worth starting a new one there - http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/board/site I know Cat & Tom check that part of the forums regularly so it will get seen. If its in the social forums its likely to get missed.

I have that too. I was just about to post something about and ask if we could have a 'report' button added to peoples profiles. They have it on pinterest and most other sites and you just select why you're reporting them - i.e. in this case 'spam' and it generates a message to the site owners.

I've made myself a few playsuits for wearing to bed and I've managed to simplify my own pattern down so that I'm only cutting out three pieces. I've just been out and bought the bits to make a new one so I will try and take pics and upload a tutorial.

Yeah that would would. Its a shame facebook felt the need to make it so tough to run competitions. I can understand that part of it is probably they probably want to reduce the chance of people getting caught by scams or fake pages and don't want that coming back on them because they host the site, but its a shame as there are so many legitimate small businesses who wouldn't misuse it.

Thank you Ravens Trove for doing all this work. The only bit I'm finding hard to get my head around is how you obtain peoples email address without it being public (i.e. on the pages' timeline).

I'm glad you enjoyed it - its well worth watching if you are naturally more quiet and introverted. I went for years thinking it was a flaw and thinking I had to be more outgoing. I'm 38 now and have a couple of really good friends and an amazing boyfriend and I'm happiest when I'm at home watching a film with my bf or crafting or just surfing the web. I also subscribe to reddit and their introvert subredit http://www.reddit.com/r/introvert/ and that has some good discussions. A few months back there was a thread on peoples ideal Friday night - it was great for making you feel okay about being quiet. The only thing I would say about reddit is that there are loads of trolls out there. The smaller subreddits like the introvert one are fine but if you are more sensitive then you may want to lurk and just subscribe to the subredits that interest you.

I didn't learn about it till really recently and have run giveaways on my facebook page in the past. I think its a real shame if fb do get too rigid with the rules as its a really great way to get exposure for a small business.

I'd definitely agree with Ravens Trove. You might like this TED talk on the power of introverts - its one of my favourites Happy

I just learnt that you can't do facebook giveaways - its apparently against facebooks terms and conditions - the link to it is here https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/941191_10151397239596806_1811403191_n.jpg and here's the t&c https://www.facebook.com/page_guidelines.php
