I was wondering about Pam - she's normally very active on the forums so I hope she's okay.

I'd be up for joining if there was a bit more time to make stuff by. I'm already doing a private Tim Burton swap and birthdaygrams so another week or two would be really helpful.

Kat, UK - happy to send internationally

Does anyone else here have google ads on their website/blog? If so I was thinking we could all put our blog addresses here and if people could each check each others and click on any ads that interest them. I'm guessing as this is a craft site we will all have similar type ads coming up on our blogs - mine are largely crafty/jewellery related ones. I'm sure google wouldn't approve of this but if we don't go mad and only click what interests us then I can't see it being an issue.

Almost forgot to put a link to my blog - its here http://www.woodledoodledandydesigns.co.uk/blog.php

We've had a nasty outbreak of a sickness bug at my work so we've been very short staffed and very busy. I should be able to post Monday though so hopefully it will only be a day or two late. Hope you have a great day.

Thats very good advice from Pink Weeds. I can remember going through something similar at uni. I had a male friend who liked everyone to think I was his girlfriend as it made him look good. It really annoyed me for ages and then I got to know him better and we got really close. I developed feelings for him and told him and he gave me all this speel about not being good enough for me. I was completely crushed and heartbroken for ages. That was well over 10 years ago now and looking back I think the experience helped me to see what I need from someone. He was far to flaky and I never knew where I stood. I ended up cutting ties with him altogether (which may not be right for you but worked for me). I went through the not eating and crying. I tried channeling it into my art and a few bitter poems ;) I also did a few less constructive things like drink too much and wallow. I would recommend being extra kind to yourself - pamper yourself, surround yourself with reliable friends, make sure you eat and drink and don't be too tough on yourself if the food isn't especially healthy. I'd personally say steer clear of too much alcohol as for me it magnified what I was feeling rather than blocked it out. Also blocked out feelings only pop up later so its better to express them at the time. Also exercise helped. I loved aqua aerobics as you all look silly together and no one can see your body under the water and no one can tell if you've been crying. I went to an women only class. If you have a pet like a cat or dog make sure you get lots of extra cuddles.

I love olives and used to think they were disgusting when I was growing up. I can now happily nom a jar of them. I also used to hate marmite as a child but as an adult I love it. I also like peppers now, especially roasted. This makes my boyfriend laugh as he still remembers a time when I used to pick out any pepper in a meal and leave them piled up on the side.

I'm going away for a few days but hope to bring some crafty bits away with me so I can get something made to send to Hayley when I get home.

I'm not much of an Elton John fan but I love his video for 'This Train don't stop here anymore'. I think it was a stroke of genius to get Justin Timberlake to play a young Elton John and I love the bitter feel of the song.

There's also a lot of duplicates of projects which were popular a couple of years ago. Some of them were even featured and have then been featured again but by different people. I know that is probably totally innocent but people probably need to check before uploading a how to or creation to see if its already on the site.
On the issue of people adding projects from pinterest there is the option to say whether you've made a project inspired by something else online. Its not good though if someone is knowingly stealing someones idea and pics and posting them as their own.

A year or two ago I remember the community section of the forums being called something else. I think it was issues or issues and rants. I personally think it was a clearer title for those boards. I've noticed since it was changed that some of the posts that used to go in the old issues and rants part have gone into the the suggestions and problems bit. I can totally understand why as having problems in the title makes it sound like the place to discuss problems of any kind rather than just site related problems. When things get mixed up together its easy to miss posts as I don't look at the site boards as often as the other bits.
