You could try getting together a bundle of magazines, colour charts, clothes, photos, fabric, anything that inspires you and each fill a box with as many items that you like or inspire you. You then sit down with each others box and look through and have a 'I like too' pile and a 'meh' pile If you don't want to physically do it you could also create a couple of boards on pinterest each - one for pinning the things you like and one for repinning the things your sister has pinned and you like too. Good luck though - its got to be tough sharing when you're older so hope you are able to work something out.

Thanks Mary - just about to get crafting
Hi - I've been swapping for years on this site and would like to join this as I like doing random things for people. Me & my bf don't buy bday pressies or valentines gifts/cards for that reason. We like to get each other things when we see them or think the person needs a gift. I've sent Mary my address to join - is that all I need to do?
Here's a pic from years ago when I had it bright red - it was also shaved up the sides but it doesn't show in the pic and I've always hated having photos taken of me so not many to choose from :/

I used Directions Midnight Blue (I think that was the name) - it was a lovely colour and my favourite colour but it just looked dreadful when it came out and was a pain to maintain. I liked it so much I actually bought myself a navy blue wig but haven't felt brave enough to wear it out. It takes a bit of getting used to so I'm just wearing it round the flat. I figured it was an easier way of having it the colour I like without the commitment or effort
Kiddo did some kawaii Alice in Wonderland ATCs - http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/alice_in_wonderland_atcs and I also found this kawaii box http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/kawaii-box
I love reading blogs especially anything crafty, green, goth or that has cute cat pics on it
Here are a few of my favourites:

That looks really cool - love the shade of blue. Do you find blue high maintenance - I did years ago when I had mine navy. If I did it on bleached hair it washed out really quickly and looked a bit grey and almost see through. On unbleached hair it would disappear really quickly. I also had an accident with the navy dye and went to bed with wet hair straight after dying it and woke up with blue all down one side of my face! It made me laugh but looked like I'd been in a fight and took a couple of days to wash off completely
I'm on leave next week too but if I get a chance I'll try and get over to work and see if there's any post for me.
Do you have a pic I could see - we don't have a Pier 1 where I am.
I've been bright red, deep pink and navy blue in the past. I'm near enough my natural colour now and just colour it to cover greys :/
I watched it yesterday - v cool
Also you could make leg warmer - I've used them in the past to make breaking in my DMs a bit more comfortable. I've also made phone cases from leggings in the past too as the stretchy material makes a nice and cosy fitting case.
I've just posted a teaser pic of what I've made for the Geek Swap http://www.woodledoodledandydesigns.co.uk/blog/teaser-pic-for-geek-swap
Fred Aldous is definitely a UK website - I think its based in Manchester. They do loads of different coloured felt and start from 45p. The only issue I have buying online is that you end up paying postage which can add up to a big part of the cost if you're only buying a low cost items.
