I cant wait for Hayley to recive my package!! I want to know what she thinks XD
I agree whole heartily! Tea and chocolate are amazing at raising our spirits I love looking back on the awesome swaps I've done or gifts I've given and rereading the thank you cards from friends who just adore what I made for them! It's easy to forget how awesome we are when someone make us start second guessing our work. But we all have those "swaps gone sour" experiences, we just have to learn to remind ourselves that it's not us, it's them who is missing out!
You rock Cat! Just keep moving forward <3
Woot! Dethklok! hehe I can read that much I am super excited

Here is a pic of the card from Deb
Yeah I have a few more days before I move. I'll be out of my house the morning of the 11th, but I've set up to have my mail forwarded to my new address if anything shows up late. If I don't get anything from you (mary) by the 10th, I'll send you my new address
I did receive a cool handmade post card in an envelope with stickers and little paper hearts from Deb. I love the little postcard she made, its being used as a bookmark in my Cryptozoology book right now! I've been trying to upload a pic of it, but i'm having internet issues. We turned off our internet for the move, and I get terrible reception in my apartment building on my phone, so hopefully when we go out and a bout I can use the wifi and get a pic up
Also I've been in touch with Joss, and has been waiting on some supplies for something, and will mail out to me when she gets them. She already has my new address.
Bump!
Yey!!! I'm glad you got them all done and in turn will be making some extra money like you said, it great that they are helping out children, but bein paid (even a small amount) for your work is really gratifying. Plus now you have extra money for the holidays! Congratulations!
Yeah I was just thinking that I should say that if anyone was going to send to me and hasn't They need my new address, because the last day I'll be at my current address is the 11th of Dec. I'll PM you my new address and you can pass it along.
Yup dito to what Monica said. But here are some helpful tips to get a better chance at getting featured- Take good pictures of each of the steps,
do something original or something that hasn't had a tutorial done for it,
make the instructions easy to understand,
use materials that everyone can get at a normal craft shop,
Hopefully that helps, and good luck
PS - when you click "Publish" on your project, it then goes into a queue to be approved by a moderator who then gives it the final approval and publishes it. To help speed up the process make sure to always categorize your projects correctly, I've noticed a lot of projects being delayed because the author didn't categorize them.
I think I am having the same problem. I publish a project and it doesn't show up on the home page or in the other categories like "version" or "creation". but I know i has been approved because people that see what I do on CO+K via Facebook can click the link to the projects and comment on them and everything.
I don't know when this will be resolved :S But since they overhauled the site (and still working on it) these weird things keep happening. Hopefully it will be sorted out soon. I messaged Tom about it a while ago, idk if he got the message though. You can always message Cat with technical problems, and she'll pass them along to Tom.
I like to grow lemon grass and mint, they go great together If you like flowery teas you could grow some lavender or chamomile too.
