If you can read crochet diagrams these are really awesome,

I'll see what I can do
Yeah I used colored pencils If I'm making my own shrinky dinks from recycled plastic I make sure to rough it up on one side with some fine grit sandpaper, so that the color will stay in place on the plastic and show up really well.
I think it's ok, if you don't have picture of the steps, but don't find random pic on the Internet to use if you don't have your own. Everything submitted is supposed to be your own stuff.
If you don't quite remember all the steps, it's probably a good idea to just post it as a Creation project rather than a Tutorial.
It's also a good idea to get in the habit of taking pics durring the process of all the stuff you do, just in case it turns out cool and you want to make a tutorial
This is one off favorite projects I've done
http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/mushroom-jars
I have made a bunch more since these and in a bunch of different sizes, which looks cool when they are all together because it looks like a little mushroom patch.
Yeah I've started getting idea and supplies together too. I'll be moving in December, so my craft supplies will be boxed up, I'm trying to get things done before then
I struggle with time management I can usually start something or at least buy the supplies, but then life gets in the way, lol. I'm a stay at home, army wife, not really by choice it's hard to find jobs when were always moving and stuff, anyway I have lots of time to do crafts because of it but I get distracted easily, when a craft gets boring or is taking to long I had to do something else. Play with my dog, bake/cook, clean, play video games, read comics, read books, search for more ideas for crafts. If I'm making something for someone else, I can get it done on time, but stuff just for fun or for myself really take effort to finish so that's my problem lol
Felt gets saved and reused until its teenie tiny, then it's stuffing. Other fabric scraps get sewn together to make larger patchwork pieces. But usually I just save the small bits of fabric becuase I can use them to make embellishments for jewler, accessories, cards, collages or to small things like dotee dolls. Honestly dont get rid of them! You can always use them, for something, eventually, lol! I just fold the bits up nicely and store them in boxes, all lined up, so when I open the box and am looking for a certian color/style of fabric for a project I can see all of them right away. Organizing them will help you know what you have/need
Lots, if not most, of my projects are for gifts or swaps Some are food, and those don't take up space because we eat them right away, lol. I have so many projects posted that when I go through them I find ones I forgot I did! Some are things I make for my home or my self and they usually aren't anything huge. But I also have a pretty large 2 bedroom apartment with just me and my hubby, so I have lots of storage space for seasonal things and lots of places to display projects. If I starts to feel cluttered I go throught and decided which items I might not like as much, like maybe they were trial runs white making a pattern or something, for those items I try and salvage as much material as possible from them. Like if it's some jewelry I decided I don't like as much I take it all apart and save the beads, chain, clasps. Or if it's a crocheted I unravel the yarn and keep it, same for sewin projects that didnt turn out. If I can't salvage them then the go in the trash, unless they are actual useable items then they get donated.
That sounds cool, can you post a link to your blog so we can check it out?

rubbing alcohol for sure, thats what I use everytime!
I don't think that painting the smaller parts is bad, the only reason I can think they would list that is because if they aren't covered in a glaze/gloss/protective finish, the acrylic might rub off or wear off over time. I think if you paint yours and then glaze it you should be fine to sell them online
The bottle caps should be fine if they are metal. Not those plastic ones. Because you put the clay on to metal baking pan anyway, the metal bottle cap shouldn't change the way it bakes. I've seen people put the clay on to mint tins and then bakes those, to make altered boxes. So I think you'll be fine, though I haven't ever tried this my self but.... now that you mention it... I think I just might have to test it out, lol
Sometime I get the urge to make lots of earrings. Or wire wrapped rings. Like if I come across a really cool style/pattern or buy some really cool beads. Then I make a bunch, and wonder what I am ever going to do with them! lol
