There is a really great local bakery here called Geraldine's and we always special order our dinner rolls for special occasions from them! So good! Then there's 5th Street Bagelry down in the university area of my town, I know you'd love their veggitarian bagel sandwich! It my favorite and I'm not even a veggitarian lol. Their strawberries and cream is a seasonal favorite, and I can't wait for it to be back on the menu myself. There is a barista names Derrick there he makes up the daily drink special, like makes it up from his brain! I met my hubby at a mutual friends party, I thought his friend was cute but he was trying to get my cousins attention, so he steered me towards James. We hung out all night until long after the party. He left with friends but came back almost immediately with some lame excuse that I later found out was made up so he could keep hanging out with me. We dated for about 6 mo the then broke up for a bit, because of something dumb and I was still in high school.
He joined the army and went to training and when he came back we started dating again, 4 months later we were engaged. We were both 19 
and the about 9 months after that we got married, August 3rd 2007! We have moved all across the USA and are now out of the army and living in my hometown. He's going to school for his degree to teach history and I'm working until he is done with school and I can start lol. We completed our little family (for now) with our 2nd beautiful English Springer Spaniel this last January.
We've been through a lot in the last 5 ( now almost 6) years, he was deployed to Iraq, and almost called it quits, but went to counseling instead. I really feel like we are doing great together and love my little family I'm glad we've stuck it out and that he has become my best friend in the whole world.
what I've been reading on different sites is that you can use a regular hook for small things, like if you were making multiple squares then joining them, or a long scarf. But not for blankets, because of how much longer you need the hook to be. If you want to go ahead and give it a try anyway with a regular hook, here is a good idea for using a regular hook

otherwise I'd suggest just ordering one or finding one at walmart/joanns/etc. They aren't more than a few bucks.

Also have you been on Ravelry.com to look for a similar blanket pattern that uses a regular hook? Its an awesome site for just crochet/knitting patterns, and most of them are free.
Yeah you should report them ASAP to Cat Morley or crafterella! Because that's not tolerated around here. I have never heard of that happening to someone here just out of the blue. I'm sorry they decided to insult and pick on you.

I like to make curtains from them, cut them into strips and make rag rugs, or use them as backing for a quilt
My hubby and I will probably go to dinner and a movie, something like that. It seems like the basic date night idea, but since we don't actually ever go on dates a lot it's a special night lol. Hopefully he'll buy me some flowers, I love fresh flowers especially wild flower mixes!
I also always make my dad a really intricate pop up type card. I did it once and he looooooved it, so I'd just been doing it ever year now, but it is getting hard to top the last years card. Any ideas for pop up cards?
Besides that I send/drop off flowers to my mom and sister too.
I think that sounds really fun and unique Having his friends help out is makes it kind of special too, having other people involved in it.
Yup dito to what Monica said. But here are some helpful tips to get a better chance at getting featured- Take good pictures of each of the steps,
do something original or something that hasn't had a tutorial done for it,
make the instructions easy to understand,
use materials that everyone can get at a normal craft shop,

I like to grow lemon grass and mint, they go great together If you like flowery teas you could grow some lavender or chamomile too.
Yeah the upside is that all of us girls are awesome, and most of us are gamers or nerdy too.
