What season will it be for you in September?
I've got a couple of days off work so I should know Friday whether its arrived. Fingers crossed. I'm also almost done with your stuff so I should be sending out next Monday at the latest. Sorry would have finished earlier but just remember last week that its my nieces birthday next Thursday and thats knocked all my swaps out a bit. I'm almost back on track again now though.
I'm trying something similar and have signed up to 6 months of the wardrobe refashion. I try to keep to similar rules to you though and try and make, borrow or buy second hand wherever possible. Its tough though as its such an ingrained part of me to buy. I actually feel quite sad (if thats the right word) if I go out and haven't seen something to buy - not big stuff just small things. Its like its an achievement to buy something. :/ Good luck though and I'd love to know how you get on I keep a kind of log on my blog which I think is www.kitkatkatchat.blogspot.com

My massage business accounts show that I'm in profit for the first time since I started working for myself \o/ Only £15 but I don't care - a profit is a profit Thankfully I still have my other job to pay the bills but I am so chuffed

The electricity board have just got us power again after a 15hour power cut. We mostly got by but its nice to have a fridge and freezer again and internet Cool thunder storms last night though!
I think we can probably keep this as a rolling swap if that makes sense. So if anyone new wants to join they can go at the head of the queue and send onto me. If anyone wants to drop out at any time just post a message here so we all know. I think so long as we have at least 6 we should be okay.

If you want to join in with the friendship book swap you would be extremely welcome. I'm not sure where everyones from but there is one other from the US. The idea was to get to know a bit more about each other and maybe get some penfriends or email pals
Finding crafting friends can be tricky. I've met the couple I know through work. I work at a daycentre and we have a few art groups and a craft group so you find out who likes that kind of thing. You could see if there are any groups in your area that craft or if you have some free time see if there are any voluntary jobs helping out in an art group or craft group. It could be at a nursery, with adults with mental health problems (like I do) or learning difficulties or the elderly or something else. It can be pretty satisfying and you can get to meet like minded people who are doing the same.
Hows everyone else doing? You should hopefully have your initial one sent out by the beginning of next week. Then one every 3 or 4 weeks after that, until you get yours back
