The symbol on its chest stands for anthrax. The hands look like lego hands, that's all I know. Good luck!

Fabric stores usually carry fake leather (play leather) in a variety of different colors and textures. My fabric store has a TON of neat selections, hope yours is as varied!
I would make a "skeleton" out of a wire clothes hanger before I started assembling the body, and possibly having smaller wires to act as the support for the paper mache'.
I don't know exactly what you are talking about though, so my advice may not even work
Creepy...there are some people that repeatedly start new profiles and leave msgs that say stuff like "I am a beautiful single girl and would like to get to know you, I want to send you pictures and blah blah blah"
There was a guy on here awhile ago and he kept telling me I was beautiful, because he just had to let me know. This is why I deleted all pictures with my face and try to keep my face out of new projects.
@ Pam Who's the worst? I wanna know!
Pigs in blankets...Here is my tutorial for super easy ones. Since you want unhealthy I would try these! I used veggie dogs, but you can use anything.

Or mozzarella sticks, I know they were a fav. of my friends when I was a teenager, you could also whip up some marinara sauce or other dipping options.

This may be a little too quirky but what about making a bunch of popcorn balls in your favorite colors and hanging them from twine onto a tree. It would be awesome if you made them look like fruit (apples, oranges, plums...). Good luck!
That is so lame, if she wanted to make something you did she could at least credit you, and trying to profit from stealing is pathetic. I probably drive Crafterella crazy because I always report people who post projects I have seen somewhere else.
I tried to see the copycats page and the plush has been removed, so hopefully this will help teach her a lesson!
BTW Photobucket.com has a easy way of adding watermarks without needing to download anything.
If she has never read the Vampire Academy series I think that would be a good gift, esp if she's a reader.
When I was around this age my aunt would always get me a new purse with small travel size bottles of lotion, gum, perfume, lip gloss, ect. If she is pretty tomboyish you could make her a bag that wouldn't bee too girly, maybe something in camo or that looks like an army medic pack?
I usually just make my first step my "needs' section since the list has never worked for me. Usually it's not a big deal, but with recipes, exact measurements are a must!
Check out these sites. I think the first one would be especially helpful.

Here is a shoe recycle project I have done. I would suggest you look around CO&K for ideas!

I would also suggest you use a primer after you sand. Depending on the wood the paint could not adhere as well, nor look as vibrant if you skip this step! I am just telling you from experience.
IDk what your definition of Pop Art is...I typically think of Andy Warhol. If that is what you mean then maybe you could do some celebrity prints, but instead of Marilyn Monroe and Jackie Kennedy you could do modern actors.
I would suggest you take close up shots to show the detailing esp. if you are making jewelry. As already suggested have a clean background. a piece of black fabric would even work.
You could be a pet rock! Or a roller Disco girl.
