That sounds like a good idea. Lauren would you post a pic of what you've received. I love seeing what others have made and I've totally forgot what I sent. Thank you

I'd love to do a Tim Burton themed swap if anyone was interested. I posted something about this a while back but didn't get much interest so I thought I'd post it here. I think part of the reason for the lack of interest may have been that I hadn't been active on the boards for about 6 months so the new folk may not have been sure about whether I was a reliable swapper or not. If anyone is interested now let me know
I got my first happygram today but I'm not sure who its from - it was such a lovely surprise and well timed as I have had a tough week at work. Thank you to whoever sent it. It was like finding treasure as there were all the things I like I especially loved the brooch and all the stash and butterfly and cat related bits I've just got into scrapbooking so its ideal
Here's what I got -

I love all the beads and the tiny pencils are so cute. The circuit boards are also very cool
You could try posting it as a request on the personal swap request board http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/board/swapping/swap_shop/5135-swap-request/page/15 The only thing is you might find people are reluctant to take up a swap with a new member who has not done any swapping before. The way round that is to look at signing up to the Newbie/Vet swap. That way you will be paired up with a vet and get your first swap under your belt. The reason things are done like this is because about 3/4 years ago there were quite a lot of issues with people signing up to swaps but not sending out anything to their swap partner. The newbie swap is a good way of getting new members a first swap under their belt and having a good first swap experience with an experienced swapper.
Also don't worry about asking questions if you're not sure of anything on the site. It's a friendly site and people generally like sharing their experience and ideas.
I'm so glad you liked everything. I saw on your profile you liked cats and so do I so I had loads of cat related craft supplies already
Cool hopefully we'll hear from her soon
Has anyone heard anything from Sally recently?
I hope mine got there okay too. I posted it just over 2 weeks ago and I think it usually takes about 10 days to get to the US from the UK.
There was a seed swapping thread on the Eco/Green board for a while. It was probably a few years back. The only thing to watch for with swapping seeds is to check the country your sending tos customs regulations. I remember Australia being tight on things like seeds and I'm sure its not the only one.
EDIT - found the thread - http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/board/home/green/2691-the-ongoing-seed-swap - it was last posted on about 3 years ago so you may want to start a new one.
Cool - they're nicely spread out which will make things easier I forgot to say before but I posted my first Birthdaygram last Thursday. I think its takes about 10 days to get to the US from the UK.
Oh thats okay thats what I originally thought and then thought if you were clearing out you might not want more back. I'd be up for doing that. I've got tons of stuff so it will get me to have a clear through. I'll get sorting
