even videos? I never thought I'd learn crochet so easily off of a video on the internet! I would have never been able to learn how to knit without my mum showing me and helping me, she used to crochet but has forgotten how!
I'm the opposite liz, using one hook instead of two needles is weird haha. Knitting is a bit like crochet just on two needles, so you're making the loops before you get to the knitting part, where as in crochet you make the loops as you go along and instead of wrapping the wool around the hook and then pulling it through the other loop you're pulling the loop off the needle and on to the other! yeh easier when you know how, expieriencing it with crochet!
QUESTION!!!!:
so im doing single crocheting...so i do a row and then i do another making sure that i turn it over and start it with two loops and then once i finish that row I go down to the bottom corner and put that loop onto the hook then carry on as before!!? the bit that ive done looks like finger!? help!

Methatsall! I just taught myself how to crochet in about 10 mins! From here http://craftydaisies.com/2007/05/22/learn-to-crochet-lesson-1/ I still dont really get the turning over thing, but there's things I still don't get in knitting.
Could anyone explain the turning over thing? It just doesn't click yet, well not properly. I'd looked at other videos but nothing clicked as well as on crafty daisies but I'm still a bit er blank though.

Years ago there were these boiled sweets that came in the shape of bottle caps, they had a black wrapper and were wrapped in a tube, like polo's are. Are they wonkas? Because I remember those little creature things on them that were to do with wonka, not umpa lumpas either.

I was watching America's next top model (does anyone else HATE the way Tyra says that!?) and they were in China and there were some Chinese girls dressed up in the FRUiTS style, you should have seen the next top model's faces and my mum was like 'oo I don't like that' but it's cool cuz it's so mad and everything seems to go even though it shouldn't.

I get what feels like bouts of it but usually there's always a trigger and then I get worse and then the next time I'll be fine. I don't trust the pill as it is, I think I'd trust a different one less!
doing surgery now would be horrible but once she grows up and has stopped growing...I think both 'faces' are functioning.

Well I went on the pill to sort out that time of the month when I was 15 but I was already going through really hard times so I don't want to blame that and I'm like you I go up and down like everyone else occasionally worse when there's something going on, there was someone on tv saying that depression haunts you always trying to pull you back but I don't want to live up to a self prophecy.
I don't have anything to use the buttons for but the pillows I'm making and the white buttons are the perfect size for my less then perfect button holes lol.
That is more scary then the girl in India with two faces (they should well do the surgery to give her a 'normal' face poor child! Now I feel bad for joking about her)
I'm so sorry Jasmin! Make a posh invitation saying he's got something on the other side of the country to go to get rid of him for a while! But mind you that could end in a lot more aggrevasion!

Today I got a crochet hook. I asked in the haberdasheries for felting needles they didnt know what they were one of the ladies explained its more of a craft thing (well duuuh) and so the guy that runs the stall will get one in if I ask him when he's there because sounds like he goes to craft things to get stock. But I ebayed it and I got 2 felting needles and some of the fleece wool stuff in pretty colours
I also got these ACE buttons, the white ones are like mother of pearl type style but now I'm having a dilemma dunno which buttons to use on my pillows that I'm making!
