for the business cards: get some card and make a design on the computer and repeat the design like however many will fit on one page and print Happy and then you could get a mini paper cutter thing which aren't so expensive or try to find someone with one you can borrow or just risk cutting them up with scissors.

I really like this bag actually...it's real vintage! But the solution is always felt! Dye or paint (fabric paint) it and then sew on nice things in felt...and I like the idea of a brooch. I'm jazzing up a bag myself at the moment Happy

Roma the link only refreshes my paaage!!!

When we did screen printing in college I found the word 'squeegees' so funny, it's the actual technical term! I might try the tights and glue thing but I can never do stuff like that right. Screen printing is really fun though. It might be easier to use a stencil at home though.

You need a pair of plain jeans and then make stencils with card of leopard spots (search google images) make about 6 stencils and then paint black fabric paint against the stencils. It will take a long time so maybe even make a big stencil with lots of shapes on it so it covers big areas at a time.

I had this dream with this really weird magical object in it and I don't know what it did but I drew a pitcure of it in the morning I think I'll try to make one. I made a dream diary in college for one of our projects and did a painting of the things I saw in the dream Happy dream diaries are so good, it's odd how you forget dreams but you don't if you write it down right away.

Why don't you try a new material or a new techique? I keep forgetting about resin and shrinky dinks but I'm gonna try to get some and the latest new thing I tried is using an iron to fuse plastic bags together which I keep talking about becaue it's so much fun and I usually avoid using things that are dangerous lol

Have you seen the project 'inspiration book'? I made one, they're nice to look at Happy I generally just have to wait about for inspiration, don't push it or it won't come.

Yes you need blogs! Bloggers blog about other things too which I always get inspiration from:

    <a href="http://www.mochimochiland.com">Mochimochi Land</a>

    <a href="http://www.mylittlemochi.typepad.com/">My Little Mochi</a>

    <a href="http://www.supereggplant.com/blog/">Super Egg Plant</a>

and <a href="http://blog.craftzine.com/">Craft Magazine Blog</a> the latest post at this very moment is of plushie food!

Bloggers like to look at other bloggers things so you'll find links to loooaaads. I also take inspiration from pretty much everything else you can think of, that comes from being an ex art student though I think.

I love the sea idea, apart from the actual gold fish thing i think parents will get angry cuz they'd have to buy a bowl or a tank and then look after it etc

I like the idea of a circus theme! clowns are scary though!

Yes! Old clothes painted with fabric paint or you could spray paint them!. Faces painted and maybe get some big paper and paint the black jack/fruit salad design on them and then stick them onto yourselves. That's such a good idea Roma and I like the ipod thing too lol! And maybe make a square head peice thing with boxes (free if you ask in a shop, sometimes) so you look like the shape but without getting stuck on a bus or in a taxi etc lol

Pleats always seem to be ironed in, I'd say cut a peice of fabric and fold it in the right places then pin down the pleats and iron them or iron them as you make the folds so they stay, then sew along the top then attach a band to the top. If all else fails try to find a white pleated skirt and dye it orange.

http://www.cospa.com/images/items/pc/20355.jpg it helps to see the finished product really, to get the idea of how it was made and then you can just adapt it

it takes time and it's hard to find a pattern exactly as you'd like but you can adapt a pattern, all it takes is a google search. Make a little doll sized one first.

Any knitting pattern for clothing takes a loong time especially if you abandon it for a while like I do...I've started buying a knitting magazine, called Knitting, straight to the point isn't it! I think the Americans can get it but you have to reserve a copy by the sounds of this one letter they had in one of the issues, or you can probably order some from the website, the Pounds down against the dollar act nooow! But the patterns are really cool and I get loads of inspiration from it, it's lovely. There's some very good how-tos in the back issues I ordered. Oh I just thought sometimes Americans knit differently from the British errr...I dunno! And although it costs money it's so worth it, you could probably find a similar cool magazine!

Anything you wanna wear takes loads of wool to make it with, well not all clothes patterns but most and it's only really fit to wear if you buy luxery yarns which are expensive but worth it because you'd just be scratching otherwise.

I don't know why I went into all that, I looove that magazine though, and its 2am, I go even more waffley, and where has Chelsea beeen for ages!!!!
