I personally am a vegan because of the health benefits. When I stopped eating meat 5 years ago it was mainly because of the way the meat was processed, the whole thing just grossed me out and I didn't see the point in eating meat. Since then my reasons for remaining vegan have CHANGED. Now the reason I do not eat meat even though I can get local grass fed, is because with the risk of cancer in my family, diabetes, high cholesterol, being overweight, and heart problems I feel this is the best PREVENTATIVE measure I can take. Also I don't like the taste of meat anymore. According to my doctor I am in perfect health, my bad cholesterol was so low they could not even measure it. My BMI is good and I rarely get sick.
If you are not eating meat because you feel pressured to be a vegetarian that is the wrong reason. I believe humans can eat meat wisely, example sticking to grass fed, local meat that DOES NOT come from a slaughterhouse. Watch FOOD INC. If you have questions about why slaughterhouses are so bad.
If you are curious about the health benefits of remaining vegetarian here are some good websites to look at. The most important thing is to make sure you are getting a balanced diet.It is possible to live without meat and be healthy. You just need to look at your WHOLE diet, if you give up meat but guzzle soda it doesn't really make a diff.

Aw he's a cutie!
After we took the last picture in front of the "Love garage" someone tagged the door
We were going to go in the middle of the night and change it back but someone beat us to it!
@Oddbread how did you get the dog to leave the glasses on! Also love the close-up very professional looking!
@Claire A. Your daughter is adorable!
This is such a good idea! Love all the pet pics as well!
This is my hubby and I when we were dating
This is at our wedding!
Hopefully all these load!
Just make sure your hair is dry obviously..
Have you tried using a soft foam roller on your bangs at night?
Ew sounds like what Im getting over.
it started at a sore throat/sinus problem then progressed to a full on body flu for 2 days the mucus in my sinus went down my throat and is now being coughed up. The mucus made me nauseous
I seriously hope for your sake you DO NOT have this stupid thing. my hubby gave it to me during thanksgiving and it just takes FOREVER to go away. If you feel like this I would suggest decongestant and LOTS of fluid. NyQuil and Mucinex are the best!
@ Lo it could have been worse. Once my little brother wouldn't take the trash in our backyard box out to the alley and when he finally did the bag broke and there were maggots that got all over him! Ewwwww. He hasn't made that mistake ever since
I like sweeping and am VERY particular how I do it. I annoy my husband cause he doesn't do it right. I like to sweep the whole floor then vacuum the pile and all along the edges. I hate leftover hair!
I don't mind washing laundry but I HATE folding it. Strange.
Ohh where to start...in order of deliciousness I suppose
1. CHOCOLATE SILK SOY-MILK!!!!!!! YUMYUMYUM I am addicted
2.Silk Soy-NOG! I am considering buying a bunch to freeze since there's some dumb reason it isn't sold all year round. Do you think that would work? I know you can freeze cow milk just fine.
3.Almond Breeze Almond Milk *expensive here*
4.Silk Enriched Soy-milk
Rice-milk is a little too thin for my taste, although, when I first went off milk that is ALL I drank.
I say a toothbrush and toothpaste would be priority!
Some minty gum for when there isn't time
Maybe some face wash
Box of new picks if he plays guitar or bass
New strings for guitar or bass
Guitar string cleaner
Fretboard oil
Buffing rag
Maybe some cool bandannas/patches.
New drumsticks if he plays drums
My bro plays guitar and I know he would LOVE something like this!
Oh also, Guitar Center has some cool accessories. You can get some ideas there.Good luck!
I like the Christmas tab!
1st and 2nd would look the cutest I think.
Also both of these would look good on you. I think you should def. get long side layers. IDK what they are called.
Hmm for the curling iron make sure you start with CLEAN hair and maybe try using a heat styling product. You may just need to give it more time to heat, and hold it a lil longer on your hair if that doesn't help. Also try using smaller sections of hair.
Other than that idk why it doesn't work, mine does I just have long hair so it's a pain to use.
note-if you try braiding divide your hair into 3 sections from your forehead all the way to the back of your neck. Then divide those sections into sections from ear to ear. This gives body and keeps you from getting that ugly limp look. Adding a lil mouse to your roots before braiding also helps. GOOD LUCK!
Also maybe if you plan on having a gently used or new stuffed animal drive you can get your school involved. it sounds like your school would be very supportive of such a fundraiser.
After the holidays would be a good time because lots of parents weed out the toys their kids don't use AFTER Christmas.
Plus people will be more apt to help when they aren't so stressed from making /shopping for other people. Good luck! Hope you can get it all worked out!
Yeah. but what kind of organic things? I can spend about 10 bucks on them :S
I was thinking of assembling a basket full of homemade body scrubs and other spa goodies. What do you guys think?
I just found out how to make organic Vanilla extract but it feels rude to give a gift that requires shaking once a day for 2 months
I just braid my hair the night before. Tousle it up a little in the morning and spray it with a lil salt water, or even some shine serum.
Also they have hair crimpers that wave instead of crimp. They look like a 2 ponged curling iron. Works well if you have short hair.
I used to have a Virgin Mobile phone. It's a pay-as-you-go and as long as you only use your phone for basic calls it's very cheap and worthwhile. Plus depending on where you live you can buy the payment cards & cheaper phones in the grocery store. Their phones are relatively cheap and I never had any problems with it.

I have also used CRICKET. The cheapest pay-as-you-go plan is $35 per month but you get talk,long-distance, voicemail, caller ID. Not bad for what you pay, I used this plane and never had any issues. If you do not pay your bill for the next month by a certain day they turn off your service no penalty. In order to get service again you just pay the $35. I would be using this now, but they do not cover where I am. I have AT&T now and it sucks.
Also with Cricket you can get refurbished phones for almost 70% off the original price.
Good luck hope this helps!
