Your poor dad..he must have felt so embarrassed. Esp. since dad's are "supposed" to fix things not break them!
Maybe he subconsciously wanted an indoor pool?
At least it was him and not you! otherwise you wouldn't hear the end of it...

I am having the same problem. It is also happening with my blog.
Here are some things I have made in the past for anniversaries and such. My hubby really enjoyed receiving them while we were dating.

This one is similar to RAWR RAWR's card idea but in altered book form with pictures. One of my personal favorites.

Glad he liked it. You put alot of effort into it and that's the important thing
I used to really LOVE candy corn. As I started eating healthier and cutting out sugar my taste buds have changed. Now I can only handle a handful if I really want to. Candy corn is FULL of corn syrup in case your wondering. The texture is strange...it's sortof like store bought fudge, just a little harder.
Here's a picture though...I think it's cute.
You could make him a little coffin and include a coffin shaped book with all the reasons you love him.
If you are good with clay you could mold the two of you as Jack, and Sally.
Tessa S. and I will be swapping!
I like the Cat in the Hat and the crocheted set! Great job!
Sorry the pics so big, also if you stuff it with catnip that should be a good alternative! That is what I do with my cats toys.
I would suggest felting around an existing cat toy such as the one below. That way if they destroy it they get another toy and BONUS won't choke! Good luck!
@Tessa S. I will be your vet if you would like. I have completed this swap with Gyspie Moon, but am still waiting for her package. We believe it got lost in the mail.
Being inspired by someone is totally different from stealing their pictures and step by step paragraphs. If she is mature enough to steal all that AND make a step by step tutorial using the original persons words she is DEFINITELY old enough to understand what she is doing. This is just as bad as plagiarism if you ask me. Paper or electronic it's the same concept.
I have seen other instances where someone basically steals an image and EXPLAINS how they think the person created it. I believe this also counts as stealing since they do not specify that the work is not their own and take credit for it.
I just think having the opportunity to flag such posts would be a good way to ensure that CU&K remains the site it is. I love the fact that most posts are original! I think it's very important that this creativity is given the recognition it deserves. Also if MORE people start passing off a "professionals" work as their own it may intimidate some crafters from posting their own projects.
I have seen quite a few projects on here that consist of nothing more than STOLEN images. I think there should be a button on everyone's project page that we can use to alert that the posted projects is not someone's idea, nor work.
I don't think it's fair that someone can steal someone's projects and get credit for it.
There is the possibility that people are unclear about the little box you must click before you upload stating that all images are yours, but seriously I don't think so...
Here is an example that *Aurore* caught.

Just for future reference Katieee most guys really don't care too much about wedding plans. My suggestion would be to plan on doing everything yourself and if he does actually want something a certain way LET HIM!
Unless it's something totally horrible like a football theme, then make a compromise.
@TinaT Kids in America have been saying things are "sick" for awhile. I remember saying it when I was growing up. I find it interesting that some that description isn't limited to Britain.
As for the British Slang, I took a couple classes on British lit, and after reading so much slang I started incorporating words like "bollocks" into my everyday conversation. It wore off as my reading changed, but sometimes if I stub my toe or something I will use it as a curse word...is that weird?
