Finished Persuasion now and steaming through Tales of the City. I only started it a couple of nights ago and I'm about half way though. This is quick for me. I'm quite chuffed that I'm enjoying it as I picked it up from the Library for 10p.

Orson Scott Card is amasing! Have you Xenocide in the his Ender's Game Series? That is by far my favorite by him.

I would suggest City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. It reminds me of Harry Potter by the twisted plot and urban fantasy. If you finish the first, you should complete the series. I promise you it is well worth finishing, but most people don't know this. Yes there's romance as well as advinture and fighting.

Hi everyone, I just finished 'Half of a Yellow Sun' by Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie today (2nd time reading, loved it just as much this time!). It's a fantastic book. It's about the Nigerian civil war in the '60s and how it affects the characters. Love it.
I want to read 'Catcher in the Rye' next I think, I've never read it or studied it so it should be interesting. Although I've heard the protagonist is very unlikeable lol.

I've tried reading Catcher in the Rye but found it really hard to get into. I'd love to know how you get on. I might give it another go in the summer. Its meant to be amazing.
