btw how do we find out about competition winners?

Sorry, I've been a bit rubbish announcing winners (there was confusion over who was closing it) - all closed competitions are now closed with the winners announced (we also email the winners).

However there are 4 competitions currently running on the site - How To Eat Like A Hot Chick (Snippets 8), Merry Christmas America & I <3 Mac N Cheese (both Snippets 9) and a craft contest on the projects page, post any project this winter and you're automatically entered.
