I'm reading Persuasion by Jane Austen at the mo. Never read anything by her but knew it was a classic so thought I'd give it a go. Quite enjoying it but not that far in, only about Chapter 5. I've also got a few queued up to read next, Galveston by Sean Stewart (who I love), Passage to India by E M Forster & the Minotaur takes a Cigarette Break by Steven Sherrill. What attracts people to a book? Its normally the title or the feel I get when I read the back or see the cover (sorry but I do sometimes judge a book by its cover :/). Also the author if its someone I know or like. Happy

Jane Austen is good, I've never read Persuasion though. Pride and Prejudice is a great read if you like her stuff. Any Francesca Lia Block fans?

I'm reading 'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak. It is really good so far! Written from the perspective of Death during Nazi Germany and focusing on a little girl - the eponimous 'Book thief'.. check it out!

Just finished Dune by Frank herbert. It was very interesting. Great characters and plot. I hope to get the second one next, looking for it on audio so it's hard to find.

Coraline by Neil Gaiman via audiobook. I quite liked it, although I think younger people may appreciate it more.

hehe I bought it in book form, its short but the writing is huuuge lol kind of a good thing, I still think I'll like it though. Almost done with breaking dawn, I love the twilight series and don't want it to end but do want something else to read!

I like to read while gooing to sleep at night so I don't get very far very fast, BUT, I ntend to make many changes and reading more is one of them. I do like a book I can hold in my hands and not read on-line. Currently on Dorthea Benton Frank, Pawley's Island was my favorite about the low-country in South Carolina.

I also like Stuart Woods, LuAnne Rice, and travel novels.

finally I finished the twilight series! Last two books were a bit long considering what little there was going on...I liked the series but the first book was the best book.

now onto the unbearable lightness of being and coraline
