There is this great greeting card site that sells naughty worded cards like "happy Fing christmas" lol and some ruder, I am buying some for some mates

I am almost finished The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman love it(my second read, catching up before the film)
I am still knitting my friends scarf, it's looking great, just slow going. I'm using moss stitch and doing it in chunks of plum and black. I wish it was for me hehe

Yes I feel like the whole day is wasted when you get up so late, the bad thing is on my new shift, we have a period were we have one day off sandwiched between two 4 day shifts, so you really need to make the most of the one day and if you sleep in late you are so angry!! It's this Monday and I am determined to go to bed early!! hehe
The hotel is pretty quiet this time of year, so today and yesterday me and the boyf spent the day cleaning the top ledge of the windows in the rooms, so boring we nearly fell asleep when we were sitting down on the doss! I would rather have enough work for the day than have to waste time pretending to work! Makes you feel more tired I spent most of the day gazing out the window at the snowy mountains and the stormy sea So not all bad hehe

I'm definitely a clutter nutter, I have only lived here 3years and I have so much crap! haha I save tiny scraps of felt and thread that I never use!
I do, like you queenfairypants, tidy every once in a while, but my desks get slowly cluttered. My desks are actually tidy, there are just so many boxes, jars of things! that are taking over my work space!!
yeh I know thats the thing, I saw one of them again at the train station and almost had a heart attack! I would say she was around 14! grr The scariest was having to go to the police station a few weeks later as they thought they had one of them and i had to go down to the cells to look in on her! MAn that was scary, lots of drunk/druggies puking and screaming! It wasn't her and I ran out of there so fast!!
I put my fairylights in my window this evening and the town lights went up this week too. Here in Iceland due to the long dark days, most people put some kind of cool light fixtures in their windows in early-mid November and we leave them up(only in the windows) until it starts getting bright, which is prob March! haha
Xmas decorations though, we put up usually around the 12/13th Dec as thats when my boyfs birthday is I think decorations before Dec is silly and xmas music before Dec is crazy!
