I read it on audiobook a few months ago and thought it was pretty good. I know it was written as a tv show and then never got green lit or something, so they released it as a book. Don't know if they are still going ahead with it in film form though?
I think it definitely has potential.

I just finished "Black Swan Green" by David Mitchell, I listened to it on audiobook. I loved it, it was written beautifully and moved at a perfect pace.
Next up in book form is Dracula, same as you Mina
Just finished reading volume 1 and 2 of Nightmares and Fairy Tales by Serena Valentino and I am now reading The World Without Us by Alan Weisman and listening to The Men Who Stare at Goats by Jon Ronson, all of which are brilliant
Coraline by Neil Gaiman via audiobook. I quite liked it, although I think younger people may appreciate it more.
Just finished Dune by Frank herbert. It was very interesting. Great characters and plot. I hope to get the second one next, looking for it on audio so it's hard to find.

My boyfriend remembered the show Supergran, so I looked that up on Wiki and apparently that is based on books by Forrest Wilson, I cannot find any information about wether the gran in the books ate porridge though, there doesn't seem to be much info out there.

Cormac McCarthy The Road. That was such a great book and it's so small you get through it so fast!
I am reading The Stand by Stephen King on audiobook. I have the book, but not the time to sit and read through it all. Much better to listen to as I work

Ah thanks Michelle I do have books there to read, I just haven't picked one out yet. I usually listen to them on my ipod, which is how I get through them so fast. (I listen while I work)
I have a lot of podcasts lined up on my ipod so no room for a book for now
Read the last in the trilogy of the Rats books, Domain, by James herbert. It wasn't as good as the first two, nice setting change, but still not so much violence with the rats.
I just listened to Patrick Stewart reading A Christmas Carol, it was perfect
I haven't got anything lined up to read for a while.
