Our Government is reviewing a 300 year old law which prohibits the Royal Family from marrying Roman Catholics. I think it's absolutly ridiculous that they never changed it, I wonder what the law is about the Royal Family marrying Muslims? And also why the hell are they wasting their time on something that has probably been overlooked because it's so old fashioned. A Church of England vicar or whatever was saying how they shouldnt be allowed to marry Roman Catholics, well I think that was the jist, I wasn't really listening to that part.

I hate it, I don't see the point of having a royal family anymore at all, the money could be used for er..hospitals. I doubt Prince Harry and William actually ever want to be kings. People say that once Charles is king he's going to have to keep his opinions to himself! HE'LL BE THE KING! He can behead you if he wants!

I don't think so anymore, lol. but the monarchs are an institution, in newfoundland we are brought up loving the royals. The Queen has visited our island a few times, to great fan fair.

But I agree that they money they get could be put to better use...

There will always be a Royal Family, it brings in too much tourism and no one would be able to buy Buckinham Palace or any of the other landmarks or keep it running without tax payers. It must have been a bit crap growing up in Buckingham Palace, there's probably only so many rooms people are allowed in to because of all the pretties, I bet even the Queen can't touch some things!

The Nosarii of western Asia are said to worship a dog. The Kalang of Java had a cult of the red dog, each family keeping one in the house. According to one authority the dogs are images of wood which are worshipped after the death of a member of the family and burnt after a thousand days. In Nepal it is said that dogs are worshipped at the festival called Khicha Puja. Among the Harranians dogs were sacred, but this was rather as brothers of the mystae.

In Tibet, Lhasa Apsos where kept in temples as watch dogs. Hence why Lhasa Apsos are yappy but don't tend to attack people. The monks would carry them around in the sleeves of their robes Happy The breed comes from Tibet.

Blue Chihuahuas (although not called that at the time, and would have looked different) were sacred to Aztecs while red ones were sacrificed.

And most people know ancient Egyptions loved cats, but they quite liked dogs too, they would have been pets but not as beloved as cats and they would have been used as guard dogs and working dogs too.
