Come behind the scenes at Making the World Cuter for a #CraftRoomTour and explore Tiffany's craft room in Bend, Oregon.

It's so bright and white and inspiring.

Tell us about your space

It's just a small room that was sold with the house as a bedroom, because it is such a small space we knew right away that it would be my craft room. It's all mine and I love to have a little place where I can lock myself away and play whenever I want! I podcast in here, I make printables and gift ideas in here and I craft for fun in here.

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

This was the first room of many that we remodeled in our house...which means I am ready to update it! Ha! The downstairs all has wood floor so I am wanting to continue that upstairs and especially here in my craft room. I also want to change the baseboards, but other than that, this room is exactly how I want it!
As you can see I LOVE the color white. If I could find it in white, it's white! The chair, the scissors, the stapler, the headphones...yup, all white!
We painted the whole room a bright white and built in the craft table, the waterfall desk and the organized shelves. I wanted everything in view and easy for me to access. Since I am so tall, I wanted a crafting table that was built for my height and not standard size. I love that I can stand and work without bending over.

How do you keep organized?

Everything has a place...or it doesn't have a place in my craft room. I am big on throwing out anything I don't use, so if it's in my craft room I use it! I have labeled containers and cute bins to hold my supplies. I also have cabinets under my craft table to hold gift wrapping supplies, fabric, completed gifts, photo props and extra art supplies.
I hate a cluttered desk, so my husband built a little cubby under the craft table attached to the desk where I can store my desk supplies such as my stapler, tape and little things you need, but don't necessarily want out.

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

A label maker is my best friend, and really my best tip is to just get rid of stuff you're not using. The less stuff I have to work with, the more inspired I am. When I have too much, I feel overwhelmed and not creative.

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

I use my Silhouette Cameo a lot, and built a little rolling cart for it, so I can roll it to my desk when I need it. As far as my own creations...I feel like the whole room is my own creation. My true passion is home design, and since I designed the space and my husband helped me create it, everything is on display! I really like to keep it clean and uncluttered, so there aren't a lot of "projects" out.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

I am definitely one to write things down. I love a pretty notebook and my planner is full of to do lists, calendars and deadlines to keep me all organized.

Where do you look for inspiration?

Oh the usual places, window shopping out in stores, Pinterest, Instagram, clothing...

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

Really it would just be one wish and that would be just to make it wider. I could get better pictures of the space (the photos just don't do this cute space justice). I would have a white leather couch in there with some cozy blankets where I could sit and work on my computer when I'm tired of my desk and be able to put some big plants in there to freshen it up even more. Since we can't really add on to that side of the house, it will have to stay a wish.
I mean I guess the wood floors and new baseboards could count as wishes, but I'm gonna get those without the genie pretty soon! ;)
