How would you describe your style?
I would say that my style very much reflects the romantic and daydreaming traits of my character. I love taking inspiration from past eras, the 1800's and 1940's especially. Ever since I was little I have been reading as many books as I possibly could and nowadays I just feel like I want to dress like a main character from a book. Earlier this year I discovered sewing and knitting so wearing me made items have now become a big thing for me. It gives me creative control over fabrics, patterns and inspiration and I can make sure it also fits perfectly without feeling the stress of trying to fit the ever changing high street brands.
What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?
My favourite garment is a vintage floral chiffon dress that I found in a vintage shop on a holiday to Paris. The shop was located right next to our airbnb - on a quiet and wonderfully Parisian street - and wearing the dress takes me back to lovely memories of that trip.
Who are your style icons?
Madame Rhos, Elsa Billgren, Ekaterina Andersen & Rachel Maksy
Do you have any favourite designers?
Kamila Bedra, Lena Hoschek & Helen Arnesen
Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes?
ASOS is usually a go to when I've been buying clothes because of their variety. But when I have a bit more money to spare I have a look at Hearts & Found, Little Women Atelier, Cotton Candy Wear, Bedra Vintage or The Seamstress of Bloomsbury.
Do you make or customise your outfits?
I do when I make the garments myself, but have previously been too scared to alter any purchased items.
Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?
Don't be scared to dress the way you feel like. If you one day feel like wearing something that you usually don't wear - just go for it. Clothes is a way of expression and no one is saying that you can only have one style. You make the rules!
Which other fashion blogs do you love to read?
Mood Sewciety & Elsa Billgren
