Upcycle Tshirt Dress Into Suspender Skirt

How would you describe your style?
I think it depends on my mood! I am influenced by Japanese styles and subcultures. I like taking elements of each and making them my own.
What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?
Currently me made suspender skirts are for sure! There is something marvellous about being able to take an idea of clothing item and make it your own so that it fits you fully.
Who are your style icons?
I don't really think I have one! I often admire how people put together outfits, but generally I look for style everywhere around me and on social media.
Do you have any favourite designers?
Not really. Again I like to look for inspiration around me and on social media where people post project not for high fashion but for everyday wear.
Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes?
To be honest I like to shop online in stores selling clothes that would otherwise end up in landfill. You can buy unique clothes cheaply and customise it.
Do you make or customise your outfits?
Yes, I make or customise most of my clothing. It brings me lots of joy to always have a project on the go. Also wearing clothes that you have made is like wearable every day art and it really comfy! You can chose fabric that you like and that feel nice. Also by customising and making your clothes, you don't get bore of it. It will reflect you and your personality, so you can look forward wearing it or years.
Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?
If you like something and if your feel good in it, it will look good. There are lots of rules out there against mixing colours, patterns and silhouettes. Really, if you like it, who is to say that your outfit does not look great? People have different opinions what is pleasing and what is not and there is a place for everyone.
