Sew Cute Creatures
We chat to Mariska Vos-Bolman, give you a chance to win the book and learn how-to sew a Miranda Mermaid.
I'm a dutch woman that has been making soft toys for 11 years. 10 years ago I started my own company called DIY Fluffies. With DIY Fluffies I sell soft toy sewing patterns and Amigurumi crochet patterns. I'm also a mom of two boys of 7 and 9 years. That is probably why I have a lot of patterns that are very suitable for boys as well. My boys and animals are a big inspiration for me. We are a very creative family, my boys enjoy crafting to and my husband is a very talented artist.

Join us for a #CraftRoomTour of Elizabeth Moad's craft room.
I like the fact that the space is small so most things I need are in arms reach or just a step away! I can sit at my desk and if I need an embellishment I just swivel the chair around and look in the drawers behind me. This sounds pretty lazy but actually it means there is no interruption when designing a project and the flow is continued without getting up from the desk.
Come behind the scenes at Little Black Dog in SA for a #KnittingNookTour and see Joey's knitting & crafty room in Johannesburg, South Africa.
I love having this room to relax in and get creative. It has a lovely big window that looks out over the garden, where the wild birds come to feed every day. The room gets lovely morning sun, and is the perfect reason to make tea and go and sit in there with a crafty magazine while I start my day. There is enough space in there for Miekie (the little black dog) to join me any time.
