Ah thanks Michelle I do have books there to read, I just haven't picked one out yet. I usually listen to them on my ipod, which is how I get through them so fast. (I listen while I work)
I have a lot of podcasts lined up on my ipod so no room for a book for now

fred claus... if you take out the parts with vince vaughn it's not too bad and I can't really stomach Kevin Spacey anymore, so maybe it wasn't a wise film choice haha
The BBC planet earth ones are AMAZING!!
My first time was pretty much the same My flatmate ran in to our room yelling. We ran out to the balcony and they put on an amazing show! That was one reason I loved living in the countryside. We haven't seen them so much whilst living in the city, all that damn man made light blocking the sky
Walking around at night looking for the Northern Lights Haven't seen any so far this year.

WIth the cold weather my hair gets very staticy, the short hair around my parting all stands up and I get a kind of Cameron Diaz thing going on! eughh I don't like to use products in my hair, so it's there to stay haha
Read the last in the trilogy of the Rats books, Domain, by James herbert. It wasn't as good as the first two, nice setting change, but still not so much violence with the rats.
I just listened to Patrick Stewart reading A Christmas Carol, it was perfect
I haven't got anything lined up to read for a while.
I love doc's. The latest ones I watched were Jesus Camp, The King of Kong, My Kid Could Paint That, Confessions of a Superhero, which was actually very sad and touching
I have such a long list of ones I want to watch! haha

Fjöruborðið at Stokkseyri, lobster soup was so yummy!
Shalimar, Reykjavík. Indian/Pakistani food, so very spicy and delicious!
I agree photos of loved ones. Living abroad of course they are even more important for me. I have one huge frame and just lots of photos in it. Then I also have my albums close to hand, if I get melancholy.
I can live in pretty basic circumstances, so I don't need much, but I think some nice soft fleece blankets to snuggle up on the couch with and candles
