Ah thanks Michelle Happy I do have books there to read, I just haven't picked one out yet. I usually listen to them on my ipod, which is how I get through them so fast. (I listen while I work)
I have a lot of podcasts lined up on my ipod so no room for a book for now Happy

fred claus... if you take out the parts with vince vaughn it's not too bad and I can't really stomach Kevin Spacey anymore, so maybe it wasn't a wise film choice haha

My first time was pretty much the same Happy My flatmate ran in to our room yelling. We ran out to the balcony and they put on an amazing show! That was one reason I loved living in the countryside. We haven't seen them so much whilst living in the city, all that damn man made light blocking the sky Happy

Read the last in the trilogy of the Rats books, Domain, by James herbert. It wasn't as good as the first two, nice setting change, but still not so much violence with the rats.

I just listened to Patrick Stewart reading A Christmas Carol, it was perfect Happy

I haven't got anything lined up to read for a while.

I agree photos of loved ones. Living abroad of course they are even more important for me. I have one huge frame and just lots of photos in it. Then I also have my albums close to hand, if I get melancholy.
I can live in pretty basic circumstances, so I don't need much, but I think some nice soft fleece blankets to snuggle up on the couch with and candles Happy
