    You do not know the hassle he has gone through! I mean the guy on the phone was nice and all(the 4th guy he got anyway!) but after saying over 3 days he could send it to someone in Ireland and then get them to send it to germany, he turns around and says no, we can't even do that. As far as they are concerned they were never launched in Iceland!! WTF?!!
    It's the second red ring of death and this is the second machine he has had in 2 years! Just our luck that it happens right when the depression hits! ha

    Iceland is great, as you can see from the pic, we currently have snow Happy You should definitely try to visit. Happy

    My boyf loves computer games, film, reading, technology stuff, sushi, anime, comics, me ;) He also loves Japan and we hope to get there some day. He is currently playing Fallout 3 that he just got for his bday. His xbox 360 has died and due to the shops bankruptcy, they cannot repair it and microsoft claims they do not sell them in Iceland?!! So he found a quick fix and is getting in as much play as possible before it dies again!     This is how it is explained:
    "Icelanders celebrate Christmas in the evening of December 24 and this custom is thought to be a development from an old Catholic custom where people would have a wake the night before big church holidays as it was often believed that a new day started at 6 p.m., which is when Icelanders traditionally either go to church or begin the festivities at their home."

    So after their dinner around 7pm Icelandic kids open their presents! And on the 25th it's just more of a family day Happy

    I was 14 1/2 before I got mine Courtney, they'll come and then you may well wish they hadn't!! But I do understand the feeling of not having them when it feels like everyone else does.

    I kinda get two. Icelanders celebrate on 24th, as it's considered xmas day after 6pm or something weird like that! Then we celebrate it (unreligiously) on 25th.
