What are you reading?

At the moment I'm reading Walden; or, life in the woods by henry David Thoreau
so far it's interesting

I just finished reading James Patterson Fang from the Maximum Ride series on my ipad i have a lot of books on my shelf i have not read but im considering buying one on my ipad instead cuz i just love to read on it. I think I may start City of Bones tomorrow or I may go buy the new Sookie Stackhouse/ True Blood novel.

I just finished "Dead In The Family" by Charlaine Harris (the newest book in the "sookie Stackhouse Series"). And i was really dissappointed.
This is my favorite series ...but nothing really happened in this book.
It was still a good read, but compared to the other books ...it was kinda dull. I think shes gettin tired of writing them. lol

"Shades of Gray" by Amanda Ashley~ I really like her writing style and how she portrays vampires.

I've just finished The Girl Who Played with Fire by Steig Larsson and loved it, better than the first book which was brilliant anyway. I'm now reading Tales of Masukaki (or something, can't remember how to spell her name!!) which is set in 11th century Japan, really love it. I read most stuff, pick them up in charity shops.

I am currently reading Confessions of a failed southern lady by Florence King. so far it is good!

Currently reading "My Zombie Valentine" by four authors. I'm enjoying it so far~ finished the first story last night.

I just finished re-reading the David Sedaris book, When You Are Engulfed In Flames. And now I am starting on The Wraiths of Will and Pleasure by Storm Constantine.

I'm busy reading Angels & Demons by Dan Brown because my boyfriend told me its much better than the movie. I usually don't read much but this book is really interesting.

I am between two books right now; I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell and Paradise of the Blind by Duong Thu Huong. The later is the better one of the two.

Currently reading "Dark Possession" by Christine Feehan. I've actually been 'reading' this book for a week now, but I haven't gotten past the first chapter ^^; It's good, it's just that I keep getting distracted and I can't concentrate on reading lately.

Harry Potter! I just finished watching all the movies and they are good but I kept thinking how much better the books are lol. Sooo I went back and I am reading them all again.

Currently I am reading Alice's Adventures In Wonderland and I am going through the collected works of Shakespeare, right now I am on Hamlet

the next on my book list is Youth in Revolt

The Kingdom Beyond The Waves by Stephen Hunt.

It's a steampunk adventure... it's OK but there's a little too much 'change this word to make it sound other-wordly, but not another...' so for example some plants and foods have 'other' names (e.g. Kafeen for coffee) but then in the same sentence similar words are unchanged (tea, milk etc'). It's just a little thing but it makes the changed words stand out and seem clunky.

Plot, character and setting are good though so I am persevering.

I've been re-reading the Dark Tower series by S.King... I started to some years ago, but the series was still going with two more books to go...
So I've been buying up copies at thrift stores XD I'm on book five now~
