I rarely shop new, but I did buy a pair of boots recently from Elk; an Australian family owned and operated business with a strong ethical foundation.

Do you make or customise your outfits?

I like to mix it up a bit and mix thrifted clothes with a few customised / refashioned pieces I've done myself

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

If you think you've got an idea to refashion an old piece, go for it. Most of the time, you won't wear that item of clothing as it is anyway, so it's best to try and get some wear out of it. Life is too short to wear boring clothes.
