Maggie recreates the look of the 90s for today's #DIYTheLook.
I thought that the idea of combining the 90s aesthetic with the idea of a goddess, incorporating goddess-like jewelry and headpieces with the 90s flair. I am drawn to the 90s feel, and its how I dress a lot of the time too - I'm especially happy that plaids/ditzy florals and dark reds and brown lipstick are back in vogue because I think its such a "cool girl" look, and has just the right amount of edge to not veer on the side of two "sweet".

Hello, my name is Emma Lamb and I work from my home studio in the centre of the beautiful and historic city of Edinburgh, Scotland. Although I grew up on the North East coast of England, where the stony beaches hold a special fondness for me, Edinburgh is my home, it is such an inspirational city with a vibrant creative community. My favourite thing to do it to take long walks with my dog Spanner, a floppy-eared English Cocker Spaniel, around the historic streets and wonderful green spaces. Calton Hill has become one of our regular haunts lately, from there you can see the whole city. It has an exceptional view of Arthur’s Seat and Salisbury Crags, Princes Street to the Castle with the best possible view of the Old Town architecture lining the Royal Mile, then on the opposite side an incredible panoramic view out over the Firth of Forth to Fife and beyond. It’s such a great place for people watching too as there are always crowds of tourists admiring the sights!
The best thing about my city is the location! In the highlands of Scotland with Loch ness and some of the most beautiful scenery right on our doorstep. Just a drive away from the island of Skye.....endless mountains and lochs......stunning. Culloden battlefield visitor centre........fabulous place to visit. Also a visit to the flora hall with all sorts of amazing plants and flowers! Stunning! The gateway to the highlands and a fabulous base to explore the rest of the highlands from!
