Libby recreates the style of adorable Japanese idol band Babymetal for #DIYTheLook
I wasn't that sure about Babymetal when I first came across them, but after I watched the BBC documentary on them I was won over. They have such energy on stage and their shows look amazing. Their stage and video outfits are gorgeous, I love how they mix the traditional Japanese masks and robes with the gothic lolita style. If I need a pick-me-up I watch 'Gimme chocolate' on youtube and I can't help but smile.

Jean Haines' Paint Yourself Calm
We chat to Jean, give you a chance to win the book and learn how-to paint lavender.
My name is Jean Haines and I am happy to say I am a watercolour addict. I have been painting from the minute I was old enough to hold a paintbrush and paint daily. I teach watercolour in many countries meeting fabulous people of all ages and all skill levels on my courses. I have written several books on the subject and filmed several DVDs also. I am passionate about the magic of the medium and love sharing the joy I feel when creating.
I love living in Warsaw because I feel like home in here. It has everything - skyscrapers and a charming Old Town, lots of fancy shops or restaurants and beautiful Vistula River floating through the city center, plus loads of extraordinary green parks. It's a perfect place for business, a nice place to live in, a place to fulfill your dreams and to live your passions.

My favorite things about this space are the DIY projects I did to customize and maximize the space to our needs. I made/built/sewed the chaise lounge (by cutting up a king-sized memory foam mattress!) to create more seating in a limited space. I designed and built the wall organizer to keep the art supplies away from my special-needs daughter. The work table was a backpack storage unit I bought from an elementary school's surplus sale that I added legs and casters to, as well as a table top to make a super function table that also holds a ton of storage. The wooden dowel and copper joint wall grid is place to put up my latest textile and print art. I worked really hard on a tight budget to create a space that we all love to be in.
Come behind the scenes at Big Red Kitchen for a #KitchenTour and see Robin's kitchen in Williamsburg, Virginia.
It's small. My former kitchen was huge- thus Big Red Kitchen. But two years ago we decided to downsize from our 4100 square foot home in Northern Virginia to our current 1100 square foot home called Manderley Cottage here in Williamsburg. We are a family of five, so we are definitely cozy. The smaller kitchen has made me focus on the kind of cooking I want to do. So in a sense, I downsized how I bake- no more cupcakes (too many gadgets!), and I had to ask myself which tools I use most frequently, and if it is something that is used only once or twice a year, well then it had to go. Smaller kitchens while difficult to cook large meals in, do lend themselves to clean up very quickly. Big Red Kitchen took hours to clean, and this little kitchen is almost fuss free.
