Cook Beef Tataki in #ABiteToEat with Harajuku Kitchen in Edinburgh, Scotland
How did you get started?
We started first as a street food at Stockbridge Market.
I was then a resident Chef for the Consulate General of Japan. Whilst going to a local cookery schoold to master pastry and French cooking, I was very interested to try out my favourite noodle dishes on the street.
At the street market, we have been cooking Japanese sushi, Yakiso ba and udon noodles and Japanese gyoza.
After few years, we had growing number of followers and we opened our Edinburgh Restaurant.
Where are you located?
It was a great opportunity to spot the current place as it is near the Meadows park and between Tollcross and Bruntsfield area. It is ery near to residents and Univesity of Edinburgh.
What are your specialities?
We are authentic Japanese Cuisine, not too overly pricely but have whole range of good hearty Japanese food that was passed down from generations from my great grandparents restaurant.
We are very good in hot Japanese food, all home made, authentic.

My favourite is Takoyaki, the octopus balls
What's on the stereo?
Folk, jazz, folk rock and woodland chill
