Cornbread Cafe started as a food cart in January 2010

On the corner of 7th & Polk, near the Whitaker neighborhood, in Eugene, Oregon USA!

Southern-inspired comfort food
What's your personal favorite thing on the menu?
The Sammy I Ammy (our version of the McMuffin)
What's on the stereo?
A pretty diverse selection; anything from gritty blues to disco to doo-wop

Do you host any special events?
We host annual fundraisers for several homeless organizations as well as an annual fundraiser for Basic Rights Oregon and one called 'The Grilled Cheese Experience' for Food for Lane County (food bank). Then there are a handful of other fundraisers we host for animal rights groups/shelters and vegan/environmental organizations, such as EVEN (Eugene Veg Education Network) Civil Liberties Defense Center.
Is there anything else you'd like us to know?
Our used cooking oil is donated to the local Food Not Bombs chapter to fuel their truck and we donate left over food the FNB as well.
