CO+K Wishlist (What do you want?)

I second the printable projects suggestion! Would save me getting exercise by running back and forth to my computer.

Do the CO&K peeps still read this thread?
I'd REALLY like to see a timestamp on the main part of the boards.
Hard to explain what I mean um..
As in... when I click on "CO+K Wishlist" board... I see at the top, of course, the most recently posted-to threads...
I see;
- the subject line
- the person who started the thread
- the person who posted to the thread last, and when they posted.

What I would LOVE to see, is in the second point above, not only who STARTED the thread, but WHEN they started the thread! Sometimes it's very relevant... like in the swaps list... there's one there right now that says "A new swap" and it was at the top because someone had posted to it today... but when I clicked on it, it was actually an old swap, ending the week of Hallowe'en. I can see when it was started once I'm IN the thread. But I wouldn'tve clicked it originally if I knew from the first page, that someone posted that a month ago. Make sense?

Thought of something else, though maybe it does exist and I'm just oblivious? But I don't think so...
I know we get email notifications when we have a new comment or project comment...
But what about having a link up beside "Messages" and "Friends" that says "Comments" so it can say like... 5 Comments... and you click it, and there's a link to each project that has a new comment... AND any comments that have been replied to (like if I commented on someone else's project and they responded)... And of course the links would go away once I'd visited those projects, and it would assume I'd read the comment.

I feel like a big pain in the rear but I had one more idea that would totally rock my sox;

"SUGGEST THIS" buttons on all projects. Say you see this project that you just KNOW that <insert friend's name here> would absolutely adore. You click "SUGGEST THIS", and it would give you the option to "Suggest it" to one of your CO&K friends, via a drop-down list of all your CO&K friends... OR to email it to a friend who is not a CO&K member (so as to show it to them AND maybe they'll start an account, right? Yay free promotion! lol)

... and of course the Facebook/MySpace share buttons might be good too. But... meh.

AND... (I'm sorry!) If the main page with the title and the name of who started the thread, links to each page of posts (or at least 1, 2, 3, LAST) ... so that you don't have to click into the thread and search for what you wanted... and if you only want to see new posts, you can click "LAST" and go directly to the last post

EDIT: I did notice the next day that there's a "(view)" link next to where it says who posted last. I never noticed it before cuz it's tiny!!! lol...

thanks cat! I was also curious about the banners too...also when ever I go to my first army wives craft show could i pass out some flyers or cards about cok? I was just curious.

I'm having the same problem as Yeesha---"The "Versions" are messed up. when i click that ab on the main projects page it is fine, but then if i try to see the next page of them it won't let me. It takes me back to the "all" tab. So i can only view the recent posts."

same- it keeps going to the users page it is very annoying!

lol yes I can´t remove friends or projects too.. Well I have nice friends..but I want to be able to remove someone if I want to ;)*g*

I think it would be so great it we could rearrange the order of our projects on profiles, sort of like a "top 8" on myspace

it'd be really great if there were printer friendly pages for the how-to's, so that you just click on a link & it comes up with just the basics...

I was looking through some messages I'd written to people, and found out it's kinda hard to figure out who I've written just by looking at the list of sent messages - I had to click on each one to figure out who it was to. it'd be cool if instead of my picture showing up on the left side of the message if it was the other persons', OR if it said "sent to" instead of when I sent it on the right side of the message that'd work, too.

just thought of something else...

I started a new topic on here when I was having a problem with comments not showing up, but Tom fixed it so I came back to delete it to help clean up in here as I'm sure there's a lot of stuff that does need to be taken off - what if we had a tab for the topics we've started so if it's something that doesn't really need to be up anymore, we can see a list of them and delete it easier? it would be quicker than going through each category and looking through pages of topics to see which one you may have started that is only taking up space anymore. and maybe if there's a way to be notified, like that specific topic on your list could have a flag or something pop up when that post has been inactive for like a few months or something to prompt you to decide if it's worth keeping up anymore? just thought it would be a good way for everyone to help get rid of some of the clutter we all create on here
