seeing as I'm addicted to hair dyeing (woo!), I'm starting a thread for me to ramble about hair dyeing...so yeah!

This weekend I'm re-dyeing my hair pink, because my red is fading out to a nasty blotchy orange/faded red...so pink it is! After that I'm gonna let it recuperate until the school year, then do a natural red or maybe black...so yeah!

Hair dyeing adventures? Is this already a thread and I'm just being annoying and troll-y (I hope not)?

Hm...while felt isn't *really* my thing...that's rude. You can make tons of adorable, non-tacky stuff out of felt...I'm not a felter but come on...don't be rude, bb

I don't really have a theme per se, but it's gonna be black and white and really minimalistic looking....like I said, I'm getting a loft bed (white) and new bookshelves, which are gonna be kind of...striped? I'm getting three of the same bookshelf and they all push right up against one another, there'll be two black ones and a white one in the middle...and a white chest of drawers. I think I'm going to get new bedclothes that are black and white graphic-looking...I'll show you the links of the furniture...it's all from Ikea, haha.

I love interior design, too! I love minimalistic, clean, monochrome looking designs. Which is funny, because in fashion I really don't like minimalism haha.

For my birthday this year I'm redoing my room! I'm so excited! I'm getting brand new bookshelves and a loft bed with a desk underneath it...I think it'll look really good!

Thanks! It's faded out a bit now...my bangs are more orange than red. At the end of this month I have to start fading it out so that it'll be gone by the start of school...I'm definitely not looking forward to having orange hair :\ we'll see, I guess. I know for sure that I'm dyeing my hair a more natural red for the school year...I might change that at some point, too. I'm already addicted to dyeing my hair haha

Er...3 years? Haha I'll be a sophomore next year, but I was hoping that F.I.T. would be affordable because the good fashion schools in the US are all in NYC and not Texas, haha

Yeah I do see a lot of overpriced items on etsy, and I know that they're handmade, but a lot of time the skill level required and the materials used are waaaaaay below the price....it bothers me :/

    So I'm happy.

Anyway, today I added up the numbers and found out that my dream school (F.I.T. NYC) and my top choice for state school (UT Austin) COST THE SAME.

That means I can afford (kinda...hehe...) to go to college in NEW YORK FREAKING CITY.

Thanks! Happy And DarkAshHurts, I used Special Effects USA and it seems to have stayed really vibrant well...it's only been a couple of days though, so we'll see. But I bought special shampoo & conditioner and wash it in cold water every 2 days, and wear a shower cap in the shower.

    Aw Happy that sucks!

I also dyed my brother's hair Manic Panic's 'Purple Haze' for his birthday...he dyed it blonde and it looked super bad so I dyed it purple for him!

    Tada!

So, school got out for summer today (woo!) and I dyed my hair "Nuclear Red" from Special Effects USA hair dye. I used Manic Panic's 30 Volume Flash Lightning for an hour, then shampooed it out, then put a whole bottle of the SFX color on it and left that on for 30 minutes, then just rinsed the dye out.

And voila! My hair is NUCLEAR RED! I love it so much!
