Would any of you be so kind as to vote for my attire in this vintage competition?

The competition is being run by this company called Pigeonhole which own a collection of quirky gift and vintage item stores in Perth City in Australia.

There are more details on their FB group, so all you have to do is like the 'Pigeonhole' facebook page(http://www.facebook.com/pages/Perth-Australia/PIGEONHOLE/8768000585) and then just 'like' my picture(http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=6815150&id=8768000585&ref=fbx_album)
as the person with the most 'likes' wins!

So if you spare a moment, I'd love your help! ♥

Hi there Lakesha, you'll love it here! Such a variety of crafty people!

I've joined CO&K about 3 years ago and I still keep checking back, I absolutely love it, I was never really a crafter until my friend introduced me here, it opened up such an amazing world that I never knew was out there

Just thought I'd bump this thread up and add in some of the blogs mentioned on the "bloggidy blog" topic but not in this thread:
    -Lady E
    -Heather C
    -Kira
    {Sorry if I forgot anyone}

Lots of lovely new blogs to check out from you all!

I had a little goal in the summer holidays to get 5 new followers which I happily suceeded in as I had 9 new followers, it's nice to see people enjoy what you're writing. That's what I love about the blogging world; the fact that complete strangers want to know what you're up to and what you're thinking, usually more so than the people around you!

I love Christmas but the only thing I don't like is that my mum gets really busy around that time so she is all stressed and we usually end up having fights, last year we had such a bad falling out that it was the first Christmas ever I didn't spend it at her house(stayed at my dad's who is a christmas scrooge but I convinced him to put up a tree Tongue).

A side fringe shouldn't get in your eyes if you have it cut short enough, probably best to get is more curved and less angled. I have a curved/side fringe and it doesn't get in my eyes at all, but once it starts to get a tad long then I know it's time for a trim.
A cut like this shouldn't get in your eyes, especially if you have it done a tad shorter than in the picture:

I'd get a curved/side fringe. Something like this:

Plus tell the hairdreser you want it layered and if it's think tell them to thin it out. Also I'd reccomend going through hair magazines and when you find a style you like take that in with you and show it to the hairdressers. That way they know exactly what you want and have to a guide to go by. The best haircut I had was when I took in a photo to the hairdresser.

Yeah, this is really needed for the swaps. But until the rating becomes available I'd reccomend all hosts of swaps to make some basic rules on who can/can't enter. Eg.
    1. Participants must have been a member on CO&K for 2 months
    2. Participants must have posted 4 projects/creations
    3. Participants must have posted over 100 posts on the board
