I have the pallets. I have some AMAZING fabric from some heavy duty curtains what was donated as well. (Cotton, light canvas. Heavy for curtains.)
Questions:
What is the easiest/cheapest way to treat/protect/prepare this fabric for outdoor use? (Water and sun protection)
What would you use for cushions you sit one? I want comfortable, inexpensive, but waterproofing may be necessary.
I am also open to ANY other suggestions you may have. I have only done one upholstering project in my life so all tips, links, suggestions are very welcome!
(As for the rashes on you body, have you had a doctor look? It could be flat out heat rash or psoriasis. I do get patches of extremely dry skin and it always heals up when I'm visiting a wetter climate, like Seattle. So, I now use pure, fragrance free essential oils on my skin. LOSE the over the counter lotions, they're not good for super sensitive skin.)

I use alcohol. True. Deodorant clogs your pores and can create more problems than solutions. I just cleanse with alcohol after I shower. It stings a bit on razor rash but they don't get irritated after that. And, I rarely have any odor at all. If I do, I just do another quick wipe, instantly gone.
There are also some recipes online for other lighter astringent type "fresheners". This is what my Grandma used as a child and it's cheap and works for me.

I AM "Google-girl"! I learn infinite new things daily, leap search references in a single word and know your every move, real estate tax, public and criminal background. There is no such thing as an obscure reference... I WILL find it! I could use my powers for evil, blackmail, even foreclosure moves but I choose instead to use my powers for creativity and freedom of expression!
(If you think this a bit "over-the-top" ask my husband or any co-worker, I truly am a bit sic and obsessed with online referencing, but DAM I am good!)
Great idea if you're in the mainstream (project popularity). Some crafts are just "hotter" than others. I see a lot of value to continued creativity as well.
Here's a curve ball.... "average" the number of favorites per project or some other formula combining the two. Anyone who consistently averages (blank) number of favorites would be top.
I could see a lot of "so-so" projects get deleted by someone to improve their averages. It would make the site cleaner!
There's probably a lot better way but it all involves "someone" doing extra work...

I have deleted "posts" thinking I could end a thread if "I" started it but it just limped on without me! lol
Mainly Swap threads that are closed? When you're looking for an opportunity to participate and swaps that closed a long time ago pop up on the list, it's confusing.
I've also seen the comment by moderators, (IE: this thread is 3 years old, might want to start a new one), that indicates some older threads might be better just disappearing.
And, really old ones threads where no one was interested or mis-posted by a newb like me. I had one I would have deleted after a few days and was kinda embarrassed I couldn't. (It was posted in the wrong section...)
Oh, and, how about suggestion threads for problems that have been solved after a week or so...

I would add the option of sending you a PM on Facebook with their email address. They can post it when they post, "I agree" or they can send it in addition to "I agree".

It's pretty strict and limiting, I agree, but it can be done. They have gone waaaay overboard in making sure they can not be sued for fictitious contests. But the opportunity is still there and I am fairly confident the "template" site I created covers it.
