Swap rip offs

HAHAHA! Awesome Sug - love your moderator ninja!!! =) I think I've only been in two bad swaps..... one was the plushie swap - my stuff went to Australia, but I never got one back. Boo! Then again, she said she sent it, so i suppose it could have just gotten lost.....

Then there was.... i think the secret santa swap? I was given the wrong address the first time, so it was late getting to my person because it came back to me and i had to re-send! But it all worked out in the end, so that was good! =)

I really hate it when that happens, it happens alot. Letters and packages get lost...grrrrrr.

same, i am always worried mine wont get there! :S

I hate swap rip-offs. I still haven't gotten my secret santa swap from December but because it was secret I'm not in contact with the person sending to me :S

Interstellar have you tried contacting the person who headed the swap if they would have been the one to partner people up?

I didn't think about being in secret swap until after I signed up for it, but if I get burned on this swap I won't ever be in another one.

Hey martha i understand i still haven't got my vday but thats okay cause her dad had to have heart surgery and i don't think she has been on in awhile

and creativemind i did ask her who i was partnered with and she said she wasn't sure so....i'm pretty much over it now i've had plenty of successful that have washed the fear away i just know its better to keep contact with them. and i will never do a secret swap again

Yeah I have to, but it's real let down like when you don't get what you want for Christmas, disappointing, but we move on.

I wont do a secret swap unless I know that everyone in that swap has good standings with their previous swaps.

and patty i was under impression that she sent it to you but same as you I lost contact with her.

yeah i know she's having a hard time so i don't blame her she had no way to get to the post office

I gave you the wrong address! I still feel horrible for that! Ugh. At least it worked out. I hate when you head a swap and people don't send there stuff, it makes you feel terrible just terrible.

i have a cool swap planned for after the baby is born and I get into a groove. And it is going to have some serious rules to it, LOL! But, it will be awsome......

ahh I've only done one swap and it went wonderfully.

I trust the military post to get the mail to at least the proper state, after that i dunno, but i've never lost mail with priority, you can also do tracking on the packages for not much more. That way if it gets lost you'll know and can call the last place it was at and be all WTF XO
but in a nicer manner of course.

yeah i was g.nee first swap i thinw with swaps we should have an unwritten (but now written) rule to have a newbie swap with either the head or some one who has a good reputation or does a lot of swapping that way they know what steps to make if something goes wrong and can kinda of guide that would have helped a lot of the problems we have with bad swap expirences
