Swap rip offs

I am sorry that happend to you. Me and Sug are trying to find a way to make sure this happens. And to flag people who do this to others. Its hard enough getting these swaps to run smoothly. And I know I like the relaxed attitude we have about I don't want to be like crafster with a zillion rules!

Ya I know what you mean, there are a couple on my vday swap who are running late and I dont remember who it was that was away from the computer unless it was you steller but I had the partner who was concern that she was forgot and I got the address and sent a reminder to that person about the swap so for everything was taken care on my end to the best of my ability.

But Like Tara said we both suggested to Cutoutandkeep about wanting to have some kind of order with the swaps so ppl dont get stuck making something but never get anything in return. Its not fair and yes I understand things come up but if you make a commentment to sign up then you must finish it through and if for some odd reason you cant there should be a grace period for that person to drop so the host can parnter them up quickly.

I still haven't had my Valentine's Day swap but I think it's just because she lives in Germany. Have you contacted your partner again? Just cause I sent something to someone last year, and because she didn't say anything I assumed she had received it and months later I got an arsey message about it, it must have just got lost in the post but I was really upset someone would think I did that deliberately.

maybe it got lost- me and dis did a revamp swap and EVERYTHING got lost! :S

I used the example of Valentine's Day because that's the problem I personally had, but I was asking if you were in contact with the woman you were meant to swap with for Christmas?

oh see i'm upset it was my first swap and i think i waited to long to help remedy the problem. its not even about the person anymore really just the way now when i do swaps i'm weary but now that i'm doing more that has helped me because i'm keeping in better contact. It was a learning experince i was just wandering how others deal with problems like these.

Did anyone see the topic in the swap board for what swaps am I in??? That person will never be in any of my swaps. Crazy!

yea, I have had two horrible swaps. One, ezme already said, we did a swap, and she didn't get my stuff, but I got hers. I revamped it... sent it.. .and she never got it.

It sucked, because that was a badass shirt. I wasn't so sad when my stuff got lost, because it was just a cheapo bag, but I felt horrible, because I think it was my fault. I might have written the address wrong? I don't know... I seem to do that.

But I did another swap, and my partner still hasn't sent it. I don't blame her at all thought, because her father had a stroke or a heart attack, and she has to take care of him, so I understand that on her list of priorities, a swap with a person on the internet isn't at the top of the list, lol.

I always try and find out WHAT happened first... because I know, usually, they have a good reason.

yeah a lotof them do or they happen to get lost and they don't know.
