I'm Katy, I'm 24 and live in Godalming, Surrey. Introductions like this always remind me of online conversations i'd have when I was 15 that always started 'a/s/l?' <!-- s:p --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/cats/quixotic.gif" alt="tongue" title="tongue" /><!-- s:p -->
I work as a softwear support engineer which is very dull and thats how I stumbled accross this site, I also met my wonderful and totally geeky boyfriend through this job so although it is dull it has lots to account for!
I'm generally creative and like just tinkering and making stuff up as I go along, coooking is a big thing for me too but my biggest obsession is knitting.
I also mean to one day set up a blog and stick to updating it, but it hasn't happened yet.

Hello! I just found the site today and signed up because you all seem really cool and I love crafts! I'm Amanda but everyone calls me dust. I'm 28 and live in Texas with my boyfriend, our 8 mo. old son, and our dog. I love computers (more than people sometimes lol) and I think writing code is fun and making spreadsheets is too, so that tells you how big a geek I am. I used to love playing DS and Gamecube but now that I have a baby it is very hard to do those things. Don't worry sweet Nintendo, I will be back for you. I like to crochet and I'm currently obsessed with amigurumi - my avatar is my first amigurumi pattern I wrote, a monkey. I used to do a lot of cross stitch but again - baby + needles = not good. I stay up late so I end up watching Adult Swim and I love Bleach and Inu Yasha is okay. I'm one of those rare people who like both Star Trek and Star Wars but if I had to choose I would probably say Trek. Although I love William Shatner, especially as Denny Crane, hands down the best captain is Picard, sorry Kirk. I spend a lot of time online because I am home alone a lot when my boyfriend is on tour with his band. I have given in to the worthless addiction of MySpace and if you want to see pictures you can view my profile here: [url:b90ae]http&#58;//www&#46;myspace&#46;com/dust976[/url:b90ae] I do know when to capitalize and use punctuation but sometimes you will see me type in all lowercase or skip punctuation because I mainly get online while the baby is asleep and sometimes I am typing with one hand over his head while he's sleeping beside me, haha. I also use LOL and OMG way too much, I am aware of this but unable to resist it for the most part so I hope that doesn't drive anyone crazy. Wow, that's more than anyone could want to know about me so I'll stop now. Looking forward to talking with everyone!
