Hey everyone Happy

I'm Izzy, I'm 17 and I live just outside of London.
I go to college, and I'm studying Biology, Chemisty, Maths and English Lit&Lang. I've just done all my AS exams (I get the results in under a months time :s) and I'm starting my A2 year in September.

I'm going to Honduras next summer to live in the rainforest and do science-y stuff for 2 weeks, and I absolutely can't wait Happy (in case you can't tell, I'm a bit of a science geek haha).

My main craft is jewellery making, but being unemployed (boo Happy ) means I can't afford to spend money of all the pretty beads and things I see, so a lot of my stuff is made from things I recycle or stuff I pick up cheaply in charity shops.

Hi! I'm Jessica, but most of my friends either call me mom or canoe. I'm a 23 year old Architecture student who lives in Saskatchewan over the summer and then goes to Ryerson in Toronto for the school year.

I love knitting, spinning wool, sewing, drawing and painting although lately most of those activities have evolved and revolved around my arch program. Since my course load is so heavy (up to 30hrs of class a week plus projects of 150hrs+) I knit during class and usually only get to sew during the summers.

When not crafting, I play rugby and football now, but I used to sprint kayak at a national level and have three national medals to show for it Happy

Otherwise, I work at arch firms all summer, and am trying to open my own landscape and interior design business.

Hey guys i haven't been on the site for long but so far i love it...i just got into crafting and DIY and now im hooked...heres my "about me" i know its long to it describes me very well...


I'M THE GIRL...
that might seem shy at first but underneath is quite the opposite. that never takes herself too seriously. that doesn't watch what she eats by counting points, carbs, or calories. that could listen to music for the rest of her life and still believe it was a life not wasted (although others might not agree). that believes a life without music would be torture. that carries her iPod with her everywhere she goes. that plays guitar, violin and hopes to learn drums, bass, and harmonica too. that lives for the pit. that screams lyrics at the top of her lungs at a show. that still listens to Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley...et​c. that loves to see you smile. that with the right person will enjoy cuddling and holding hands. that loves to make out in the rain. that's an emotional train wreck (not in a sad depressing kind of way). that while struggling with her "commit​ment issues,"​ would give her heart completely to the one she loves. that hates cheesy pick up lines. that knows better than to believe this world's the makings of a big explosion in outter space. that believes life's too short, beautiful, and random to take for granted. that while struggling with her own faith and questioning God's excistance still believes there's got to be a greater being watching over us.

I'M THE NERD...
that loves to watch the discovery channel. that loves to watch Star Wars, Superman, Spiderman, and Batman movies. that loves George Lucas and worships the ground he walks on. that considers "geekiness"​ and "shyness"​ a turn on. that sat for three hours at a theater to watch Lord of the Rings, with her cousin (vero) bugging every 5 minutes and still came out saying she had a great time. that would rather watch a movie with a friend that go out and party. that would choose to visit a museum rather than staying home watching TV all day. that loves to read, no matter how uncool you people say it makes me. that according to carla and brian spends entirely too much time at the libray. that tries entirely too hard in school, although it might be useless at this point. that while attempting to engage in a philosophica​l conversation​ might end up making a bigger *** of herself than anyone else in history.

I'M THE FRIEND...
that values friendship and love above everything else. that loves to meet new people and will do the impossible to get to you. that would move mountains, walk on water, and fly around the world to help a friend in need. that would do anything in her power to make you smile and brighten your day.

I'M THE IDIOT...
that has a hard time finding her own house sometimes so you can guess just how bad i am with addresses and that sort of stuff. that used to fall for the wrong guy. that would never tell him how she feelt about him, letting him get away in the process. that could kikk her own *** for taking her sweet *** time discovering what a wonderful guy CHRIS is. that on ocassions might need a little push in the right direction.

I can't describe myself in one word, and gave up trying years ago.
I'm a major geek. Like, beyond nerdy. And I was uncool before uncool was cool, so I miss the good old days.
I'm a grammar nazi.
I'm into a lot, and very well-rounded.
I admit to stereotyping once in a while, but never before I actually get to know the person.
I'm not against anyone, and it doesn't seem like anyone's against me.
You get one chance. Use it well.
This site is really cool, and I love how it's like a community instead of a supergiant.
It gives it a feel, and it's just nice.
