Mmm those do look delicious, thanks for posting the video.
I made a deer roast last night
man it was tender
I would like to taste deer one day. I wonder if I would like it. Roast sounds like a good way to have it.
I made delicious turkey noodle soup yesterday. It was my first try and during the Turkey Day shopping I bought noodles for the leftovers to convince myself to make it. It's easy! I wish I took pictures to post it as a project here. I had two bowls and plenty was left but Peter came home and ate it ALL. But he called me at work and thanked me. Gonna try chicken next.

LOL E ok your pics making me hungry lol
Eien: Your noodle soup looks yummy, we always make lots of different things with our leftovers, turkey curry, turkey sandwhiches etc so good
Reneé I have never tasted deer meat, but last xmas we had reindeer pate, it was so delicious! a lovely crusty pastry wrapped around it, so good on crackers Very expensive
Last New Years Day, we travelled back to Fife for a meal with Tom's parents. We had slept for about 2 hours, were completely hungover and feeling really really travel sick from the journey. Tom's mum had cooked a big fancy meal of venison and Tom hadn't bothered to tell her that I was trying to be vegetarian, but had managed to request something vegetable based for himself. I felt completely sick and really upset at the same time. It was even worse when his parents made reindeer jokes while we were eating
aww thats so mean Cat! It's so unfair when people do that.
I was a christmas dinner in the countryside here 3 years ago, in a real farmers house. We had their own lamb and pork it was amazing! Later after quite a few drinks, the guys took out some more meat and my friend ate some, then the guys broke their heart laughing at her as they told her it was horse meat!!! My friend thinks horses are better than humans, so you can imagine how distraught she was. It was a really mean thing to do I didn't have any, thank jebus!
Cat if i can find some yumy vegetarian dinners Id love to change, I get where i hate eating meat
I made Cat's vegetable paella, really yummy and healthy! The recipe said it would take 20 mins but it took me an hour- I'm so slow in the kitchen!
I always make things for my friends =) a month or so into college I made cupcakes and iced them with my new friends names. I made a special one for the girl I like and put silver balls in the shape of a heart on it, she smiled lots and hugged me. On Halloween I brought in Halloweeny cupcakes, and I made fudge for a friend as an early Yule thing (she went crazy, everyone said it tasted great haha). I'm gonna make gingerbread cookies for everyone for Yule too =)
Here in Iceland at christmas, everyone makes piparkokur, which are gingersnaps, they are quite yummy and you can buy a nice pack with all the ingredients, so I intend to bake them
Cat or Shivi is Cat's vegetable paella recipe in the forum some where, id love to try it
the vegetable paella is a project- just go into the cooking section and then into savoury and then into rice dishes. It's really good!
