How would you describe your style?

How would you describe your style? My stye is all about the retro cuts mixed with whimsical colors, patterns and little baubles. Floral dresses are a staple in my wardrobe as are animals rings. I live in the sub arctic so it's a little challenging to keep up with my personal style when the temperature dips down but I try my best to not let the weather put a stop on my feminine style.

What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

My favorite piece is definitely my hot dog dress from Modcloth, it's so fun and wacky. It always perks up my mood.

Who are your style icons?

Barbara Stanwyck is definitely my style icon, I loved how she knew just how to dress her body and let her style evolve with her. Plus she worked with the best costume designer in the business Edith Head.

Do you have any favourite designers?

I love Alexander McQueen's designs, they are so bold and intricate. He was such a visionary. Also, I have a special spot in my heart for Vera Wang.

Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes clothes?

We have no clothing stores where I live, so I do all my shopping online. My favorite place is Modcloth and probably Suzy Shier.

Do you make or customise your outfits?

I love making my own jewelry and fascinators to add little personal touches to my outfits.

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

When I am feeling stagnant in my style I don't allow myself to wear any of my stand bys for a week, I set aside my favorite cardigans and dresses for a week and force myself to utilize the rest of my wardrobe.?
