Help!Dolls wanted

"Dolly Donations" send rag dolls to the orphans of Haiti and need your help to achieve their goal of 132 dolls by Ist November.

Please look at this link if you feel you can help out. You will find details of the project and a free pattern for a very easy rag doll to make. By using up some of the fabric scraps that we have left over, we can bring some happiness to a little boy or girl who has suffered in Haiti.

I'll have a look. I've never made a doll before but I have a whole book on making them so it might be nice to use it and do something nice for someone else.

My parents arrives tomorrow. We're going to need an arty project so this and journaling will be it.
One of my list of things to do this summer is to get "the teen" to learn to sew on a button so I might rope him as well.
We had a little moment the other day and the bottom sheet that has been on our huge american bed just ripped. So I have yards of coffee colored fabric perfect for this project.
Will post pics :0)
